We’ve been going to China King for years. We’ve never had it where our food was burnt or tasted like grease like a previous person has written. I give it four stars. I will continue to go there.
We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new Chinese take-out spot. The inside is clean and appears to be newly renovated, based on old photos of the inside posted in reviews. General tso’s chicken was great. Came with yellow style rice vs typical soy fried rice you see closer to STL. Their rice tastes great! The rangoons and egg rolls were delicious. Happy to have found our new local Chinese take-out spot.
Best crab rangoons anywhere. Clean and classy dining room. Highly recommend!!!
First time eating here although we did order take out we both Ordered general toes chicken and special fried rice and crab ragu. Very, very good and the crab Ragu was so soft and full of the filling. Very impressed

Wow, where to begin with China King. This feels more a day in paradise than a restaurant. The atmosphere is quite honestly incredible, it felt like I was entering China! Obviously the food was amazing. I had the General toes and it was one of the best foods I have ever tried in my life! It has quite honestly changed my perspective of life. Don't sleep on the lo mein either, the noodles taste like candy! The service is also talk worthy. The two boys who work at the restaurant are very cool! I mainly see the younger one playing Fortnite! What can I say except kids these days. Please come to China King. Please please please please!
Looking at reviews, I think some folks never went to a regular Chinese Restaurant before out here in the sticks. It is good standard fare, the Crab Rangoon is some of the best take-out I have ever had. They prepare fresh food, serve customers fast, and keep the place clean. Great family owned business in DeSoto and they are very busy. It is very affordable, especially if you go for their menu meals.
Solid go to choice for Chinese. Good stuff! Thank you!
