Good place for Chinese food, egg rolls cannot be beat, fast service!
So here's the scoop . I stumbled upon this place over 10 years ago, but totally forgot what the food was like. Fast forward to a week and a half ago - my sick friend craved their large hot and sour soup and raved about the egg rolls and pork with garlic sauce. Today I decided to grab a bunch of stuff to try. So I got the hot and sour soup, wonton soup with pork, egg rolls, shrimp egg foo young, general tso's chicken, and pork with garlic sauce. Everything was , but the egg foo young stole the show. Growing up in NYC, my parents would get it from this Chinese takeout on the Brooklyn-Queens border, and OMG, their savory gravy was THE BEST. I thought that sauce was a distant memory, but NOPE! This shrimp egg foo young brought it all back, and my husband (who's not a fan of my egg foo young) loved it too . Only thing is, now I gotta share . This place is a winner! Dee li shush indeed!
This was the Largest egg roll in town honestly a meal in its self i got two to be on the safe side. I'm so glad I finally chose this place. Very reasonable prices. I also got (8pc) crab angels full size soup with sealed container. Love the hot and sour soup . Generous portions fast friendly my new favorite spot. I Called in to order pick up I live 5 mins away and it was ready. (Came right up when I got there) paid by tap via Chime. Via Samsung. Details bc I wish others would especially about small gems. Idt they are on door dash but that made it an adventure it's located into the shopping center so you can't turn directly at the restaurant but maps give you enough warning . It's right next to the edge so you can walk to it and back. Just made date night out of a regular night. K bye.
Best Chinese food place in Birmingham hands down. Their fried rice actually has a lot of vegetables and they have bacon fried rice. It's great spicy. They also have hand rolled egg rolls not the generic ones. The service was great and I had my food in fifteen minutes.
Love this place. They have the best egg rolls, made in house. I have never had food that wasn't great from here. The egg foo young is excellent as well. If you haven't tried them, please do!
Stopped here on a road trip from Ohio to Florida, and it was definitely a great choice! Conveniently located just off the interstate with plenty of parking. The food was outstanding—delicious options with generous portions, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend it for anyone passing through!
Been visiting for several years now, it’s your typical Chinese fast food but service size is big and prices are very competitive. I usually get the spring rolls (they’re big), chop suey, rice noodles & fried rice. 12/2023 update. Looks like the dining area is now open and they're closed on Tuesdays.
My wife’s family has been getting takeout from here for over 30 years. This is a no frills kind of place and we love it. The portions sizes are great and you get your money’s worth. We love their General Tso’s chicken (I’ve tried it had dozens of Chinese restaurants and theirs is the best I’ve ever had!), the almond chicken, steamed dumplings, and their gigantic egg rolls. They have a variety of bottled sodas to-go if you need drinks. They always throw in extra sauces and silverware. When it isn’t the peak lunch/dinner rush, the wait is almost always 15 minutes. (Pro-tip: they typically are almost always closed for their family vacation in the month of July. Order takeout a few times in June and tip well! They work really hard.)
