I have been eating at The Coalmine Dragon for many years, it is definitely worth the money...always delicious and constantly good. Some people think that the staff is rude, but I see it as being efficient and quick, they are all about the business of feeding us. Sometimes they just get very busy and may seem to have very short answers....don't let that stop you from going there to enjoy some great food.
Wonderful!! The Oolong tea was a great addition!! Hot and sour soup the best I’ve ever had! Pupu platter was amazing! Didn’t get a photo. Yummy sesame chicken and schezuan beef were delightful!!
Entirely adequate Chinese food in a cozy, lakeside location. The food is unremarkable. Decently tasty, but nothing that stands out as exceptional. The lunch prices were cheap and portion size was good. I wouldn't seek this place out, but if I were hungry and nearby, I'd consider coming back with no compunction.
Amazing food! Friendly service and traveling from Denver to there well worth the drive. My family and I will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for vegan Asian food in Evergreen, they have some great options! They were very careful about making sure our order was entirely meat & dairy free, and I was very happy with the Kung Pao tofu! It was pretty spicy and really “hit the spot” for my Chinese food craving. They were very nice to us and really quick with making the food too. We will definitely be back!
Super kind host late on a Monday night. Thank you for my order! The food was amazing, look forward to coming back soon My husband loved the fried rice with chicken, I had the beef lo mein. We also ordered cheese crab wontons & were perfectly crunchy and delicious. Classic staples & did not disappoint There was so much food I had the rest for lunch today!
I will start this review by saying that I've read some of the other reviews and there are some that say they was treated rudely. That definitely wasn't the case with me. The owner lady remembered us, and our names, even though we haven't been there for quite some time. She is very friendly and funny. The food was excellent and more than enough portion wise. I would definitely give them a thumbs up and recommend anyone to go there. Go there and tell her joe and sebastian said hello. Haha.
