I had to go to Morristown memorial hospital for a few tests and had to fast the night before. So once I got out at noon I was starving so I came to Cottage II. I had a lunch special for $13.50. Shredded Schewan Beef, with fried rice and wonton soup and I ordered schwan Dumpling as an appetizer. All the food was very fresh. Especially dumplings, out of this world. The waitress was a young girl , you can tell did not want to be there. She gave me an attitude when I asked for more napkins lol! Oh youth, the don't want to work. Food was very good. Ill be back.
I was working in town and craving some local Chinese takeout. I'm glad I settled on the Cottage II. The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. I got General Tso's Chicken lunch special with an egg roll and ordered the wonton soup, because why not? Anyway, it was delicious and the price was cheap! I got it to go, but the inside atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. It was about halfway full of patrons dining in. I would definitely dine-in if the opportunity presents itself. Definitely worth trying! Enjoy!
We got the lamb and shrimp stuffed eggplant dishes. Recommended
Reliable delicious authentic food at a reasonable price. The food is better than the prices would lead you to expect. And the portions are on the larger size. In NYC a meal of this quality would cost much more. The decor is nice. The focus is on the food. We always order too much when we eat there because we love to have the leftovers
This is the best Chinese food in the area, trust me. The steamed pork dumplings had thick dough on them instead of the thin dough that some places have. I tried the mango chicken because I’ve never heard of it before and it tasted delicious and was surprisingly not even that sweet, it was very savory. I also really liked the fried wanton pieces. I will definitely be coming back here again for Chinese food.
The Chinese food. The minute you walk in you can smell it. The fresh food, the vegetables and the meat smells good. I ordered the mushu shrimp and my friend ordered the chicken and broccoli. Both dishes were fabulous. Fresh loved it. I ate it for breakfast the next morning. Thank you
Morristown has a bunch of Chinese food restaurants to choose from, and this one is tops on my list! The food is always good and prepared as requested... They have been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right! Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality Chinese food - and they do both dine-in and take-out.
One of our favorite spots for traditional Chinese dishes. The Hot & Sour soup is one of the best I've had. They have a few different types of dumplings (all are delicious and fresh). Portions are a good size and each dish has great flavor.
