One of my favorite restaurants. Great service, delicious variety of food. Is it the prettiest, no… but is it yummy? Yes!
On our way back into town my partner and I decided to grab some food from Great Wall (his 1st time my many time) pick up was quick and easy. We were given a big handful of fortune cookies. And all was enjoyed across the river at a park. Super tasty, enough for two meals. No complaints.
Food is delicious, but come during the peak hours for buffet freshness. Food ordered of the menu is amazing and large portions.
First time trying it... after waiting 30-45 min or so, my food got dropped off to me by my bf who was going out of town, i didn't get a fork and the hotel I was staying at either doesn't even have forks like it a "fruit, oatmeal or cereal and juice" type place... or it was locked up. Either way, it was a struggle to eat most of my order. Once I did get utensils, the food seemed pretty good, but it's NEVER as good heated up. So I'll re-rate this place again after I have a second meal from there.
I just picked up my order of plain beef lo mein NO veggies but still had veggies.
Small town buffet. Not fancy but is filling. Mostly depending on time you come in and traffic but for the price more filling then fast food with better flavor.
Exellent restaurant friendly staff food was hot and good clean dining room I have read the reviews of this place and didn't know what to think I highly recommend giving the restaurant a nother shot
This place is just like you left it in 2005! When you walk in it is clearly run down with no updates done in years and is definitely family run. The golden cat is waving at you just as it has in years past, the carpet is dirty and you can definitely tell the ceiling is damp. A young lady sets you at the table closest to the buffet and gets you an ice cold pessi (aka Pepsi) and the place mat says you were born in the year of the rat. The food is mediocre comfort Chinese for your small town loving folk. While you eat someone complains that the booth they were placed in has a ripped seat and you are in awe of the audacity they could have to complain, because they must know where they chose to eat. In the end you are glad you chose to eat here because the nostalgia and comfort far outweighs any other bad thing that you see. This is the type of Chinese restaurant I want, no other type will do. 5 stars because it is the peoples champion!
