I have traveled and lived all up and down the east coast. Nothing, I mean nothing compares to the food at Happy Dragon. The service is great. The food is always fresh and the same year after year. Keep up the great work.
Happy Dragon is our favorite Chinese food in the area. It took a number of different restaurants before we discovered it. My family from Florida (8 of us) ate there and EVERYONE loved it. Servings are large, prices are fair, and lower sodium. The item in my picture is a C6.
The food was good. The tea tasted differently than what I remember. I can honestly say I've stuck with the rice dishes since the food has changed a bit over the years and some things just don't taste the same. When you're used to certain dishes and they don't taste like they used to it makes a difference for me. Been going to Happy Dragon for more than 35 yrs now. It's expected that food may change depending on the cook. Service is still great. Always friendly. Parking is definitely a challenge just watch the parking signs.
Staff is always friendly, food is great and reasonably priced. Nice large dining room. On-street parking sometimes a challenge. However, the short walk makes me feel less guilty about having consumed 3,000 calories.
The service was great! Just got to-go so wasn’t searching for anything fancy. The Shrimp fried rice was YUMMY! The Battered shrimp on the other hand was lackluster. But generally, decent Chinese food!
I stopped at Happy Dragon on 7/2/2023 for lunch on my way to Portland, ME. This restaurant is located downtown. We entered the restaurant and were quickly greeted by a friendly host who sat us in the dining room. I prefer the lounge but it seemed to be closed. The server gave us their menu and took our drinks orders. As is my custom I ordered the Mai Tai. It was in a 8oz glass, a bit small to what I am used to, however, it was as strong and tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu special plates. Very affordable, plenty to eat and satisfying. I give them Kudos for their golden chicken fingers. If you’re in town stop in and try them out.
Food had the familiar taste of Chinese food i ate growing up. L22 lunch special. Beef and chicken teriyaki with pork fried rice. Good portions for the price. The food was hot and juicy. Rice was ok. Mia Tia was good. Couldn't taste the alcohol but after 2, I had a decent buzz. The side of the Crab rangoon actually tasted like crab, not just cheese filling. They work on the rice a little bit they could be 5 stars.
I really like the Happy Dragon. I eat there often. I called in tonight and placed an order. I had a dish named HAPPY FAMILY It is one of my favorites! I especially enjoy their ,Crab Ragoon. From the time that I placed my order, and drive for my Take Out, only 10 minutes had past. The food was Hot! As well as delicious! The Staff was friendly!
