We regularly get sushi as well as cooked dishes from Hong Kong House and it's always delicious. The service is great; we have never waited for anything longer than promised and the food - including the sushi - is always fresh. We are so happy to have this place close by!
This is a nice little takeout only Chinese restaurant. Overall their food is pretty solid and won't break the bank. I really love their Singapore noodles. I will eat a big serving and it doesn't look like I even put a dent in the amount they give you. I easily get three mounded plates out of an order. The flavors are spot on. It's loaded with veggies, little shrimp, pork and chicken. Maybe not the most expensive cuts of protein, however it hits the spot and the overall value is worth it. Their Beef Chow Yoke (beef and mushrooms) is another great dish for the value. Loaded with beef and a ton of mushrooms with a nice sauce. Same as the noodles, maybe not the highest level of ingredients, but it hits the spot and is worth the price of admission. They have great Teriyaki Chicken. The Egg Rolls are more of a cabbage based than the traditional celery based. They don't have as much flavor, however they're good with some duck sauce and mustard. The Boneless Spareribs have a nice flavor, some char and are not too fatty. They're just a tad on the dry side, but still a solid dish. I eat in all different levels of Asian restaurants. I would definitely recommend this as a solid to go family restaurant.
Food was fresh and delicious! We give it two thumbs up!!
Their food is crazy fresh and on the Saturday evening I went to pick up some dinner, they were crazy busy. I would recommend ordering about 45 min - 1 hour in advance if possible. In the 20 minutes I was there, over 20 people stopped by to pick up orders or wait! This makes for freshly made food and good food too. A random bonus was their guava candies that they have out in a basket, similar to how many people put out starlight mints. Since this is a family favorite,, it was nice to take a few for "dessert". I didn't like their pad thai, which is my go to - but I am also really picky and specific about the flavor/chicken/noodle ratio. My parents who ordered fried rice, chicken, and lo mein, though, loved it. Another positive is their chicken portion seemed larger than other restaurants I've been to. Our new go to for chinese (just not pad thai). Oh, parking is easy and the location is decent as well.
Ordered the other night. A few other people showed up at the same time for pick up too. For only having one person out front and one cook in the back, they did a great job getting the food out to all of us waiting at the same time. Having said this, I was nervous about the quality of the food. It was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly, even the jumbo shrimp. Large portions and full of flavor. Definitely recommend.
Great staff, super friendly, and the food is made fresh. They remember me every time I go and ask how I'm doing. They make amazing peiking ravioli and the spare ribs are bomb. 10/10, I've been going here since they opened and I've never had an order messed up or poorly made.
The food is so good! Really nice prices as well. Definitely 5 stars!! Ordered shrimp fried rice it was packed with shrimp, not the typical shrimp sitting on top and the rest is total rice. At other places they charge twice the price for mostly rice. I also ordered the fried Wontons which were very tasty. I read about how good this Chinese food was here on Bellingham Neighbors and I'm glad I went. This is my favorite Chinese food place!
Best chinese around! For $13 at dinner time you get a great size General Tso's chicken meal that isn't an overload of rice but still a good amount. Good amount of chicken l, as well as fresh fruit and salad. Well worth the price.
