I used to go to this place every time I had drill at Grissom AFB. Still some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Crab Rangoon are the best.
Food was hot and fresh and totally yummy. I had crab rangoon and my husband and daughter had sweet and sour chicken. Perfect. Excellent food.
The food is very delicious and seems pretty authentic for the most part. We also love the big portions. We’ve had a great experience with them so far.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Restaurant itself isn't very nice. Short of staff and was treated with impatience.
I decided to order take-out tonight and the food was great as always. I don't care what all the bad reviews have to say and I like to form my own opinion and I don't follow the herd lol. I've ate Chinese food at many restaurants all over Indiana and Illinois. Love the shrimp fried rice and sweet n sour pork, my mom always orders the General Tso's chicken and loves it plus they are consistent and fast service. Support your local small business. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
Mongolian beef was a little different than what I'm used to. No spikes to it Just onions beef and green pepper never had it that way It was okay. Egg rolls were delicious. First time I tried it I'll definitely want to try something different next time
Overall, pretty good food! Was ready when they said it would be and still steaming hot when I got home 20 minutes later. I only wish the egg roll was bigger! It was only about 2” long but so good! The crab rangoons were a little too sweet for me but still good, and you could see the crab chunks in it. Sesame chicken was great! My only complaint is one bite into my veggie lo mein there was a blue plastic hairlike piece of something and the noodles didn’t have much flavor.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jing Jing Garden — The Greatest Hole in the Wall You’ll Ever Find You know a place is gonna be good when the menu is just faded photos of lo mein from 1998 and the cash register doubles as a homework desk for the owner’s kid. Jing Jing Garden is that place. Behind the counter is a small child doing math problems, occasionally stopping to hand you a bag of fried rice like a seasoned pro. The walls? Decorated with the same 12 dishes you’ve seen in every Chinese takeout in America — and somehow every single one of them is perfect. The food? Glorious. The kind of General Tso’s that makes you question your life choices up to this point. The fried rice could probably broker world peace. You don’t come here for ambiance — you come here because your soul needs something warm, salty, and made in a wok that’s seen more history than your car. Jing Jing Garden doesn’t need fancy plating or modern decor. It just needs a menu, a deep fryer, and the quiet confidence of a place that’s been doing it right for 30 years. 10/10 — would let the child behind the counter manage my taxes and my dinner order.
