As an asian, this small restaurant gives me a feeling of home. The food hits the spot. The owners are friendly and hardworking.
Not a lot of atmosphere. Food is good but a bit pricey.
Best and most consistent Chinese food I've had anywhere. The owners and family work extremely hard, and that effort is reflected in their quality of food and service. My favorite Chinese food I've had. I recommend the sweet & sour chicken and fried rice combo.
GENUINELY THE GREATEST CHICKEN AND RICE IVE EVER HAD absolutely amazing the sauce is so sweet and the chicken matches with the saltines just absolutely perfect thank you
I like the fact that they have a hot bar you can pick and choose different things and they charge you by the pound the only thing I don't like the container you put your food in weighs 2.9 Oz. I don't know if they allow for that, the scale start at zero
Jumbo House has been my go to spot for food for at least 15 years when I come to Whitesburg, KY. The owners and workers are all excellent and kind people. They fed me all throughout my college years, all during my young working years, and still feed me when I visit home. This is a place that I hope never leaves Whitesburg, KY. Without Jumbo House, Whitesburg is doomed. EAT AT JUMBO HOUSE!!! Jumbo House FOREVER!!!
This is the epitome of good Chinese takeout. This isn't a fine dining place so it's not fair to expect or compare their food to fancy, more expensive restaurants. They do fast takeout, and they do it very well! I've ate here countless times and have never had a single issue. They've also recently added a small buffet and do run out of some stuff, but they work as fast as they can to make sure it's kept up!
I LOVE jumbo house, they have the best food, prices are a bit high but reasonable and the diversity they bring to our community is very welcome. Staff is friendly and it's always a pleasure to do business with them. Truly one of the best places to eat in town.
