This place is always good and packed. My go-to plate is the KungPao chicken. The LoMeins are always delicious with that smokey flavor. My daughters have the sesame chicken quite a bit. This is the best value in Alamosa, hands down. Get there early for lunch or expect a wait. Ivan and Judy are always super nice and appreciative.
Tasty, Fresh, and Full of Flavor!” I had a wonderful experience at Lucky Bamboo in Alamosa! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I ordered the garlic chicken and was impressed by the perfectly balanced sauce. The staff was kind and attentive, and the restaurant had a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s a hidden gem in the San Luis Valley—definitely a spot I’ll return to. Great for a casual lunch or dinner with family and friends.
A local resident recommended this restaurant and we were so glad we ate here. My husband got the cashew chicken and I got the sweet and sour pork. Each lunch entree comes with main course, egg roll, fried rice, fried cheese won ton, and choice of won ton soup , egg drop soup , or hot and sour soup. You can substitute an egg roll for the soup. Our meals were delicious!
You know, when you find a place with fast, friendly service, it's just the best. Everything tastes so much better when the food is also fresh. And if the whole place is clean, it just adds to the whole good vibe. It really makes you want to go back again and again. A place like that is a real gem.
I've come in for lunch a couple times now. The food is always fantastic. That lemon chicken is so delicious. The service is friendly and prompt. Comfortable and clean atmosphere. One of the better restaurants in Alamosa and the portions are a good value for the price. Update: enjoyed dinner there twice in the last couple months. We always leave full and happy. Absolutely love this place.
This place was outstanding. One of the best places we ate while visiting town. Go early, because we got there at 1130 plenty of seating. Then it got crowded all seats taken by the time we left. Service was great, friendly, & fast. The food was outstanding & we even had some leftovers to take home. Facilities was clean. If we ever pass through we will eat here again.
Fast, friendly and consistent service. Food is always hot and fresh. The staff is very attentive.
I had the lunch special, garlic chicken with vegetables and fried rice. Service was prompt, attentive, and welcoming, even though there was a near full dining room for a Tuesday noon lunch time. The vegetables tasted very fresh, and the sauce was quite tasty. I will definitely become a regular customer.
