Mandarin House Chinese Restaurant

Update: can't go wrong! 2nd time coming in and everything is fresh and tasty! Good local Chinese restaurant. Fresh ingredients and friendly services. I would definitely recommend stopping in.

Great little Asian restaurant in strip mall. We were happy with our shrimp pad thai. The portions were large and we brought half home. Prices were good. They offered Chinese food, Vietnamese food and Thai food. The menus were extensive. Service was friendly and polite. Nice job!

I have been coming to Mandarin House since the late 90’s. Never have had a bad meal or service. It is truly unbelievable for 30+ years that one place can stay this consistent and consistenty outstanding. Honestly one of the best restaurants in greater Cleveland. Not fancy, just great food and service.

Good food. Decent prices. The egg rolls were crunchy and the homemade duck sauce and hot mustard were yummy. I wish the General Tso’s had more flavor to it though, it was quite bland. I did enjoy the meal and would gladly try them again.

A quiet place to get some good food. I noticed most people were getting carry out, but a couple of the tables were occupied. The waitress was very nice and attentive. She was always checking on us. The menu has a nice selection to choose from. I got the sweet and sour chicken and wonton soup. The food was great and the prices are outstanding. I will definitely be back.

I've been going to this place for probably 15 years. The service is always fantastic, food is always great and they pay attention to detail and remember my order and what I like / don't like. Extremely reasonable prices. Great place!

This is my first time getting food here. We ordered carryout. The woman who took my order was very nice and when I went to pick up my order she was very informative and engaging. When I first opened the container of garlic chicken I thought it looked a little pale and I was already worried on how it would taste. The portions were large, but everything was bland. My wife did not enjoy her meal either as she said it was also bland. I did also get a small container of wonton soup and it was no different from the rest of the meal, bland.... I would like to say I'll come back and try it again because of the service and large portions but it may be a while before I do so. Edit 9-16-22 We've eaten here 2 to 3 times since the original review, always dine in. Food portions are very good and the taste is excellent.

Ignore the nonsense negative reviews. (No sauce and its dry? Drove 30 mins home and it's not hot? Really?) I lived in Parma for 4 years and the ONLY restaurant I could depend on for consistency 100% of the time, big chain or local, was Mandarin House. The food was always incredible, no matter what we got. The friendly women who work here go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied and we always were. I live a 7 hour drive away now and there are STILL nights I wish I could run up the street and get more of the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. Out of every similar place in Parma, this is the one. Order your favorite combo, get it when they say it's ready (10 mins means 10 mins!!) And enjoy the best comfort food of your week.
