New Golden Abacus

It had been a while since I have been here. The experiences were always great. A little hidden gem off of route 1 in Norwood. Restaurant was clean, the locals at the bar were friendly. Ping, the owner was behind the bar. It is family run. She was personable and nice to talk to. I ordered some of my Chinese food staples to check them out. Started with the Hot and Sour Soup. It was old school with a nice flavor and a little kick. The Beef Teriyaki was tender, flavorful and finished off with a delicious glaze. The Wings were nice and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the outside. They were well marinated throughout. A tad salty, but overall solid. The Spareribs were fresh, also moist with a nice flavor. The Egg Roll was more modern with a cabbage filling. They had a nice taste. I am more of a traditional Egg Roll fan that's heavy on celery and pork. The absolute star of the show was the Lobster Sauce. The sauce had a perfect consistency and complex flavors with a nice garlicky taste with a slight sweetness to balance. This dish was amazing! Definitely worth checking out!

Best Chinese food restaurant in the area. We travel from Millis to get the food. Always fresh and hot. Family run. Good people nice family.

I never had a bad meal here ever they are top notch food.

The food is quite good here - we greatly enjoyed everything we got! I'm no food critic but I've tried my fair share of Asian restaurants. Props to the staff for working hard on New Years Eve : ) my favorite items were the peking ravioli and the lo mein

Do yourself a favor and order the house pan fried noodles. Really delicious. Atmosphere is lacking but food and service excellent

Very delicious! It may be small but don’t lower your expectations because of the size! The workers are very sweet and the food is high quality! Awesome restaurant would definitely recommend!

We absolutely adore this restaurant. The owner Ping is an absolute doll. She’s always so kind and patient when we eat in person. She’s also fantastic with kids! Usually we order take-out and it’s always fast, fresh and delicious. We’ve tried many different menu items and we are especially fond of their dumplings. Lots of menu options. We feel blessed to have such a wonderful, family-run restaurant close to home. Thank you Golden Abacus!

The best Chinese Restaurant. Awesome service, great company when you walk in, treated like family full of love and kindness . Eager to get you started with a drink of your choice and great delicious food as it is prepared for you! No rush, just sit back chit-chat and enjoy the atmosphere.
