My top five daily go to Asian - Chinese restaurant, foods are always authentic and clean. Food quality is always meeting expectations. However interior renovations and exterior parking lot may need some upgrades or at least repaint exterior and parking lot for a nicer dinning experience or attract higher end clients.Highly recommends roasted pigeons.

This place is nothing fancy, but food is always great! We came here to eat family dinner (4); ordered seafood tofu soup, crispy pork, honey walnut shrimp, sauteed pea leaf w/ minced garlic, salt and pepper pork ribs, clams w/ black bean sauce, eggplant seabass claypot, house special chowmein, and rib-eye stirfy w/ mushrooms. Total came out to about $150 before tip which I thought was very reasonable especially as the portions were generous, imo. We ordered way too much food, but we were celebrating so why not .

Staff was friendly. She greeted me at the door while setting up for lunch. Spacious and clean restaurant. Quick service, I told her I was on meal break for work, she offered lunch menu. Delicious hot meal. Great size portion for one person. There is a Large live tank with fresh options. I will be back to try some of those Large Shrimps.

New Lai Wah is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Sacramento. They might not have the best looking dining room. But they're the best taste delicious Chinese restaurant in Sacramento. The service is excellent every time when I dine in. Very friendly even when I come to pick up the to-go order. The food is the best in town. My favorite dish here is the spicy chili chicken. It is better than any other restaurant in Sacramento.

Food was good. Not too crowded. Lobsters are hugh and cost is $28 for one. They have fresh crab also. I had beef and snow peas and pot stickers. All good. Staff is nice. They serve hot tea which i enjoy.

A rundown restaurant in appearance but the menu is filled with top authentic Chinese cuisine. The food is much cheaper than high end restaurants but the quality is good.

This week, I had the same two dishes in two different Chinese restaurants, (1) steam two jumbo clams with minced garlic and bean vermicelli, (2) stir fry beef steak strip with wild mushrooms. Both dishes were awesome and delicious. The presentation was also beautiful. New Lai Wah's price was about $12 lower than T Kee. The only reason why I gave New Lai Wah four starts was that there was a housefly in the restaurant. Their interior décor was outdated as well.

The service was okay. We came an hour before they were closing but the food came out really good. I wouldn't suggest going tho if you have a problem with seeing live seafood being taken out
