In my opinion, the best place to get Chinese food in town. We have gone through so many Chinese restaurants coming and going here in town and Ocean Sky has always remained. Very good food, great service!!
Best Chinese restaurant around. Service is always wonderful. Food is great.
Classic Chinese food with great service. The prices are decent. My current favorite dishes are ginger beef, lo mein, and crab puffs.
Great service and fresh made when you order food. . Large portions and good to share plates.
Best Chinese food around. Ive heard it's very authentic however I've never been to China so I can't compare. The waitress adds to the experience. She's super friendly and always remembers everyone's orders!
This place was pretty decent! I've been here before, I think a while, though, probably years. It was, eh, not the same. If you recognize me at all, you know my posts are usually pretty long. I ordered the chow mein. I do appreciate that the waitress wanted to make SURE it was chow mein I wanted - I can see how people would get the names mixed up, and I suppose it's not something that many Americans order? I don't know for sure. I also ordered the crab puffs and egg flower soup. My lover ordered the seafood combo and the beef and broccoli and their own soup. For starters, the chow mein was gorgeous. Aside from the pork needing salt, it was really good. I love the bean Sprouts so much. The sweet and sour pork was really good too, no issues there whatsoever. The crab puffs were well, different. Im a texture eater. They were super yummy, but the wontons were strange. They had, like, a coating of something and weren't super crispy. Almost like they were underdone, but that couldn't be it. They were hot inside! So I'm unsure. The soup now is why I wanted to go again. God, I love that this place makes their egg flower soup with the yolks. It has so much yummy stuff inside, and it's so tasty. My lovers, beef, and broccoli were okay. It was a bit bland and watered down but decent. The seafood combo seemed really good, the veggies were cooked well, and the shrimp was nice. However, the fake crab meat was not. My lover liked it though so, I'll give it that. Though I wish that places that charged you over 20 bucks for seafood and include crab would use real crab? Maybe that's just me. We had to leave in a rush. This dude and a woman he was with walks in and begins to talk LOUD to the waitress. Calling her lady and such. It was beyond annoying. Nothing against the establishment, but we were trying to talk while enjoying the short time we had to spend there; and this dude comes in. He seemed to be having a good time, like, anywhere else I'd have loved his energy, yknow? It's just not the place or time. The waitress was clearly uncomfortable and BUSY. She didn't wanna have to stand there and listen to you talk loudly at her man. Cmon. So we left her a nice tip and made way. Though the last issue, my biggest issue (my lover had nothing to report issue wise), was that as I was packing up the leftovers, the waitress came on over. It wasn't a super big deal, but I'm autistic and touching my food is a yikes. She picked up the bowl of rice (that I didn't want) and put it in my takeout bowl for me. It made me uncomfortable, and I feel like she probably saw that because she let me handle it from there. I'm sure that other people may possibly be very appreciative of this, and I can see it was harmless, but it ticked me off for no reason other than she didn't ask, I suppose. Regardless, lovely woman and decent food. It's not my favorite place we've been, but not bad for a quick stop if it's the closest spot. Good service. The atmosphere is decent, the decorations are cute but it could definenlty use more. The table was clean, we were allowed to sit wherever we wanted. I apologize for my sugar mess, though, they were slippery little things. Cute all around but nothing extravagant. Warm and nice out of the weather.
The best Chinese restaurant in Chehalis. It always has great food and good service.
Ordered on the forth of July, and I'm so blown away by the freshness of the crab puff dipped in the flavorful sweet and sour... I tell you man... We aren't home yet and I've eaten most of them!! Wow yum yum yum!!! I can't wait to get home and see what everything else is like. Thank you for making food that actually tastes like it should and not from a freezer bag.
If you're on the older side like I am and fondly remember the Americanized Chinese restaurants of long ago then this is the restaurant for you. The food is excellent and piping hot from the kitchen, the staff actually appears to like being here and appreciates their customers, and they have subgum. A lunch special easily feeds two, a dinner combination realistically can feed three and the prices are lower than you would pay in most places. I've eaten here twice in the last four days and that's just passing through town. Definitely comfort food at its best.
Food is decent. Szechuan chicken is great, lo mein is good, egg flower soup is good. Servers are misunderstood as they speak very direct sometimes can be rude. Prices are fair.
