Honestly I read the reviews before this and thought, "Oh crap,... But I am just too tired to cook!" We got the menu on our apartment door so I thought, "I don't care, Chinese is Chinese." TOTALLY RECOMMEND! I was pleasantly surprised. Sadly, the food was not as fast as the other reviews said it was, (about an hour)but it didn't matter. The war won ton soup was EXCELLENT(I always order extra broth because CA tends to not like the broth as much as Washingtonians) and the won-tons were not super mushy(FINALLY!!!!)! The egg rolls were a little(way) too greasy, but the cream cheese won-tons were awesome! We got the Mongolian chicken(we decided to be brave and stay away from our regular order) and we couldn't be happier. The BBQ pork fried rice was kind of spicy(weird) but delish, and the chicken chowmein was perfect; not too over powered with salt or fake flavors! I recommend! A little greasy, but so good! We will be ordering from them from now on! Just wish they made the fried almond chicken with the gravy instead of the weird chopped kind.

They had lemon chicken that wasn't dry and tasted like my childhood. Only 2 people working; one had to run door dash orders at the same time so service was kind of slow. But it was good!
Ok so there's about a thousand Chinese restaurants in San Diego. P.G. King rises above almost any Chinese restaurant that I have eaten at. The QUALITY of food is out of this world. I would literally drive a hundred miles just to eat at this restaurant it is that good. I believe this is the first review of a restaurant that I have done it's that good.
Just had PG King cater my party. It was delicious. There was enough food for everyone. The service was excellent. Everyone raved about the food. I will definitely use them again. Thank you!
I love this restaurant! Food is always prepared well. And I would drive 100 miles for their hot and sour soup with “crunchies”. Staff is always helpful and friendly.
I ordered the schezuan chicken, bbq pork lo me in and salt/pepper wings. Everything was delicious. Would order the pork and wings again. The chicken was outstanding, but I want to try something else!
Wanted Chinese food and they were closing soon but they still delivered it for me. Super nice and quick and good. Better than pizza after a late night shift...
