This is one of the nicer Chinese restaurant we have in the area. It’s been around for a very long time, but they have managed to maintain their large beautiful dining room. Food was good and the service was even better. Prices are a tad bit higher than other Chinese restaurants.
I love Sam’s China Inn. It’s very consistent and I haven’t had a bad meal or experience here. One of Southeast Texas’s true hidden gems. I have moved away from the area and I know I will miss it, but it’s good enough to contemplate a 2 hour drive just for Sam’s. Some of favorites were the moshu beef, pan fried dumplings and chicken chow mein.
Long time established restaurant that has nice decor and atmosphere. For appetizers had egg rolls & hot and sour soup. The soup was very thick which I prefer over being thin and watery. Entrees were Egg Fried rice and Szechuan Chicken, both were hot, fresh and very good. Waitress was pleasant and attentive.
Lunch break!! Got the Hunan Shrimp from the lunch menu. So delicious! Generous portion. Perfect balance of spicy. Fast service, friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant inside. Good place for date night.

Best customer service ever. The staff was very friendly. Prices are good and the food is even better. Finally some Chinese food that isn't super grease. manager chenlin is so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
I recent visit to China inn, left us thoroughly impressed with their authentic Chinese dishes, particularly the China inn chow mein, they were 100/10. I wish I could bring this back to CA. Staff went above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience.
Went here with family Sunday. Everyone loved their food. They even had fries for our grandchild. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was we all planned what we were gonna eat from the online desktop menu that said lunch menu was served daily. When we got there the in house menu excluded Sunday from the menu so we had to but family platters. I checked later and the mobile phone menu was correct with a few conflicting menu items. Once we made all of our changes The food was great and the staff was friendly. It's a nice place for family.
