Absolutely shocked that they've been here the entire 23 years that I've been here (and many more years in their case) and this is my first time trying them: excellent food on all counts! Fresh, perfectly cooked, and unlike any other Chinese takeout that I've tried before. Much more like home cooking than a takeout. Great service as well - looking forward to many repeat orders!!
Best chinese food in a long time! Egg rolls very good! Chicken fried rice and sweet and sour was very tasty. Place is very clean and owners very kind. Reasonable priced and very nice portions.
Not your typical Chinese restaurant. All of their meat is marinated and incredibly tender. If you like greasy fried breading and dry chicken, go somewhere else. My friends and I have been regulars here the past year and Mary and Joe are very hardworking, kind people. Going to continue giving them our business to support local!

This place stands out amongst typical Chinese takeouts. The meat, sauces and vegetables taste fresh and crisp, not the typical rubbery components in slimy sauce. Rice is relatively fluffy, not compressed into a brick. They are polite on the phone and in person when ordering, not rushed and short with you (although I'd love if they added online ordering). Will be my go-to for Chinese food at my Isla condo!
The food was amazingly fresh and a million times better than your typical American Chinese restaurant. I’ve never seen such variety and quantity of fresh vegetables. And the lo mein tasted like it was cooked with home made pasta. Not your usual soggy doused in oil kind of stuff. Everyone in my party of 8 was wowed by the food. I will say one small critique is the sweet and sour sauce only tasted sour like they forgot the sweet part.
In town for a few weeks, residing in the Cozy Cottage in Passe A Grill St. Petersburg FL…when my urge for Chinese food kept me searching to fill my hunger, Wong Lee Chinese Cuisine was the answer! I ordered off the menu, actually, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and their Special House Fried Rice. I was about six miles away but was worth the drive! Give it a try, I did!
The best little take-out restaurant, and the true definition of "mom and pop shop." Run by a couple for the past 37 years, they treat you like family every time you come in. Lots of healthy options. The best part–the prices are incredibly affordable. They should really be charging more for the value they offer. A hidden gem in St. Petersburg. Highly recommend!
