The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything tasted great and was served quickly. A really enjoyable dining experience—I’d be happy to come back again.

We've been here a few times already. We had to figure things out first. It's just load a bunch of stuff in a bowl and pay by the pound. They seem to rotate some ingredients like vegetables and little fancy fishball thingies. They cook it all in the broth of your choice, and the broths are amazingly tasty. I prefer the medium spicy beef broth. IF you have discipline, it's a great meal for under $15. I always end up adding way too much good stuff. Also, the people who work there are super-nice. I will be back.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday with a friend and we got here early because we weren't sure how long the wait would be. Arrived at 11:45am because the place doesn't open until 11:30 am on Sunday and it was very easy for us to find parking. I've been to the Milpitas location and wanted to give this one a try since it's the same restaurant and I like it since it's a build your own noodle bowl and you even get to choose the broth base. I went with the tom yum soup base and it was delicious. I will also say that this location didn't seem to have a bottle of mala spice which I was a bit disappointed in. The seating arrangement of the store has the tables really close to each other in the restaurant.

I was here for the first time as my friend mentioned this authentic place. Since it was Friday we decided to come early at 11 am and to our surprise there was already a big line up at this place. You pick up a bowl and choose what you want and how much you want. There's a good mix of fresh vegetables, fish in the form of fish balls, meat, seafood, tofu and many more leafy vegetables, noodles of all kinds. Once you select it they will weigh it and will give you a table number to be seated. Based on the base sauce selections out of three kinds - sweet tomato base sauce, mild spicy which is with beef bone broth and the last with spicy yet with peanut sauce. Your food that you selected is taken inside their kitchen to cook and based on that your food is priced. I found this very reasonable from the point that you don't have to waste food. Usually when the soup bowl comes out it's huge enough to be fed to three people and one person can't finish that all. So this is good that you can pick and choose. I chose the mild spicy one it came as a soup bowl. The aroma of the spices were so tempting that I started tasting it. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. They will place the bill but will tell you not to worry or hurry, just enjoy your food. I really loved the ambience It is really good with lots of sunlight, numbered table seating inside, and giving more details about the type of their food. It seems they have more than 6K franchises opened around the globe. This restaurant just opened recently as they call it soft opening. I will definitely go back here to try out other flavors and food items. It's always advisable to come early as later at noon the line was outside the restaurant. I find this place very neat and clean. I will highly recommend it.

First, choose any food you like into a plastic bowl , and have it weighted, then choose the base. The price is dependent on the weight and the base. There are 4 types of base, 3 soup broth (tomato, beef bone mild spicy and medium spicy) and one dry sauce. There are plenty choices for the food. There is no slices of chicken though. The tastes of beef bone broth and the tomato are great! There is a side bar for dipping sauce with garlic, green onion , cilantro, chili, and sesame sauce. The waiters are very helpful. They will set up the seats for you while you select the food. They will put water, napkins, and chopsticks on your table. After the food of your choice is cooked, the waiter will bring it to your table. It’s pretty fast, as well as tasty!!!

Malatang noodle hotpot by weight with a pick-your-own-broth option is a fantastic dining experience for customization lovers. You select your ingredients—from fresh vegetables to proteins and noodles—pay by weight, and pair them with a broth of your choice. The broths are rich and flavorful, whether you prefer mild, spicy, or numbing Sichuan-style. It’s perfect for those who enjoy tailoring their meals to their tastes. Fresh ingredients, quick cooking, and a casual vibe make it a must-try for hotpot enthusiasts!

This place is poppin’; it’s almost always full but miraculously by the time people finish scooping up their ingredients and check out, there always appears an open table. The workers really do a good job on this. I do try conscientiously not to take too long or chat after I finish eating. The self-serve bar has a lot of options, offal, bullfrog legs, innards, vegetables that are rare at hot pot places. I think I tried too many exotic things and it made my stomach queasy. It has more variety than the Milpitas the location. The soups are different too. The workers are super duper nice and hard-working. They refill your waters. I highly recommend this place. Please support them!

FOOD magical ygf malatang. whoever makes the beef brone both needs three thousand more dollars. i personally love the potato noodles but i recommend getting a lot of meat (if you really like meat) since they charge by the pound. theres also a variety of drink options. SERVICE wait is generally pretty long 20-40 mins. after sending the bowl to the kitchen its then about a 5-10 mins wait for your bowl to come back. i was also offered a free drink since i made an offhand comment about driving a long time (40+mins) just to eat here. the workers speak chinese and english ATMOSPHERE really lively and busy atmosphere. table next to me was hilarious. parking is pretty hard to find. tables for small parties (1-2 people) are lowkey kinda small.
