Yong Great Wall Buffet

We recently visited this buffet to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Even though there was a large event with about 100 people, we were seated in less than 20 minutes. The service was great, and the food was delicious and satisfying. Compared to our last visit, the place looked much cleaner — the walls and carpets were spotless, with no stains or cobwebs in sight. The waitstaff were attentive and always ready to help. Overall, we had a really pleasant experience. The food variety is impressive, and the dessert section remains my favorite part, offering a wide range of tasty options.

Everyone in my party enjoyed the buffet. The food was fabulous! Your glass was never empty. The servers were top-notch. We had reservations for 5:30 and were seated immediately. It is a large restaurant. It should be noted. I shared my opinion with a couple of people that had a bad experience in the past. I am happy to say. They gave it another try and were thrilled with the experience this time!

As we were in Branford today, and the old place we used to goto has closed we googled a Chinese restaurant and this location came up! To say the least my wife and daughter and I were very impressed with the customer service and the food quality. So this will be our new place when we visit Branford from Kitchener. Customer service was amazing as was the food. The price for the food was also very fair! My wife even said “ they are even better than the mandarin Restaurant” . Thank you for amazing first visit to your restaurant .

Update May 2025. Photos added. Price increase to $20.99. Hmmm, that puts this restaurant in contention with Mandarin pricing. I don’t know if they want to go head to head on that front. Stop a good experience here though. Selection of food was good in my opinion. Only shortfall was we got there 15 mins past 11am. So they just opened. Some of the hot stuff wasn’t hot yet as the warming trays weren’t full heated. By the time we left, there was lots of steam coming up from the trays. Next time, I’d go about an hour into the service I’d think. Updated: February 11 2026: Redemption time! Fantastic! Hot food. Tasty tasty tasty. Quick service. Thoroughly impressed today. Uploaded some new pictures. Good selection! Meats, soups, salads, desserts. Only $14.99 a person. Same price practically as a combo at McDonald’s and so good. Updated Feb 2025. Very good. Had a nice $18.99 buffet.

Big restaurant always seems busy busy there for dinner I think the food was great everything was fresh wings were good they weren't dry fried mushrooms were good pepper beef was good lots of deserts. I wish the mussels were cooked instead of it being on ice. Dinner at 4pm cost $23.71 for dinner great price great selection on ice cream like 8 different kinds

Always great. Our car club holds meetings there on the second Saturday of the month, usually 30+ people. Food is always hot and fresh and the price is very, very reasonable. If you are thinking about going there, just go. You won’t be disappointed

It was amazing very wide variety of different types of foods and everything was delicious absolutely the best buffet in town add as far as the price of no one can beat that like five of us grown men went out 8 till we couldn't eat anymore and it was like 120 bucks and we all had a soda as well

This place has the decor of a high Rollin Las Vegas Revue and the food is probably the most succulent ever tasted. Lots of weirdos eating here but that’s not the places fault I seen a couple potato heads and lots of oversized backs.

For the price, Great Wall is excellent. And you can actually get a beer for less than $4 bucks!! Ok it's not the fanciest buffet on the planet nor does it have the classiest clientele. But the prices and the reasonable quality of the food make up for any shortcomings.

I look for reasons to come to Brantford from Hamilton, just for the excuse to come eat here. You can't get this selection and quality for this price anywhere else. Best deal in southern Ontario.

Always pleasant staff. The waitresses we have had are always happy and joke around with us. Good selection of food, and it has always been fresh. Excellent value for your money.
