Living in Flatbush for years and this is always a go to for family and friends to order take out when I come visit and even around the area they're others but can't beat this place as the food and service is excellent
At first glance, This Place may not appear impressive from the outside, but trust me, the food served here is absolutely amazing. In fact, I consider it to be some of the best Chinese food in town. The flavors are rich, authentic, and truly exceptional. I have personally fallen in love with their crisp chicken in brown sauce and let’s not forget fan favorite chicken with French fries. These dishes have become my personal favorites, and I find myself craving them repeatedly. The combination of perfectly cooked chicken, flavorful sauces, and crispy fries is simply delightful. Although the appearance of This Place may deceive you, the food and quality they offer are truly outstanding. I wish I could give it 100 stars! The attention to detail and the dedication to delivering an exceptional dining experience are evident in every bite. One aspect that truly impressed me was the speed at which the food was served. The efficiency of their service ensures that your order will be ready in no time. This is particularly remarkable considering the high quality of the dishes they prepare. In my opinion, This Place offers the best Chinese food in Flatbush, and dare I say, even better than any other Chinese restaurant in all of Brooklyn. The combination of luxurious flavors, exceptional quality, and efficient service make it a hidden gem worth discovering.
Reviews are legit I was looking for a new Chinese restaurant and I have given these guys a shot the food actually tastes very good .. had the chicken and broccoli and I like the rib tips highly recommend
The food here is good overall. The pricing increase is likely a reflection of ongoing gentrification in this area. Excellent customer service which is a plus and unusual these days, especially from places that offer good food. They likely know your usual order after a few return visits. Occasionally weekend/evening orders will require additional wait times. Calling ahead may help but they don't make the order until you arrive - in order to make it fresh. That aspect was a bit inconvenient at first, though understandable. No complaints about the food itself. Clean and fresh indeed. Recommended overall.
Not many places left where entrees are in the single digits, and ZLD did not disappoint. Dinner sesame chicken weighed in at almost two pounds and had the perfect sweet sauce and soft rice. Service was friendly, and food was ready in just a few minutes.
At first, I was pretty unsure about this place when I first saw it. But when I entered, the lady was very kind and quick! Though they don’t have much people, they ALWAYS make their food so fresh and so delicious (which is why they take awhile because they don’t serve OLD food) It’s extremely affordable and satisfies my stomach all the time before I even get full. Me and my fiancé go here nearly everyday now and it’s incredible. Please don’t be rude or rush them. They make all their food fresh and hot and I prefer going here over Panda Express and McDonald’s. 2 large plates and very large servings for 17 dollars is not bad at all. Trust me it’s so worth it and cheap!
Phenomenal!!!!..... Inexpensive, no frills, a true depiction of the soul of global Chinatowns. What does that mean?...no need to watch YouTube videos on Chinese food markets and fantasize of visiting one day...a trip to bustling Church Avenue BROOKLYN is where the real deal is.......
“The place is clean, though the establishment is old and somewhat run down. It is a small spot where you get food through a window. Unfortunately, the food was dry and hard to chew. It tasted the same as I remember from about 20 years ago.”
