Cuteeeee vibe! If you're looking for a nice intimate cocktail bar this is your place! Low lighting, really friendly bartenders, and a cool entrance. Knock three times for entry. The menu was small and the cocktail we got was honestly really strong and not enjoyable for me, but the wine was outstanding. I would expect nothing less for an Oregon bar though. Really cool and hope to go back!
This is a small dark romantic basement bar. The food options are limited. The hot caso and chips were tasty. The salsa and guacamole and chips were passable. The music playing was romantic and not to loud. The service staff where nice. I hope to return to this bar to enjoy drinks again.
Great food and drinks. The ceviche and the floutus were our favorites. Super cool vibe and had no problem talking even though it was a full house on a Saturday night.
1st time to Portland and glad we found this place! Not sure how “speakeasy” this place actually is, but it’s passable. The Nondescript entrance with tiny writing on the facade and above the door works for the vibe. Was a little busy and they were understaffed so we had to wait a bit so we walked around town for about a half hour, but we came back and got right in. (Thanks cowboy hat security guy) the bartender seemed knowledgeable and professional. Atmosphere was cozy and lended itself to personable contact with the small party I was with even with us sitting at the bar. We only had one drink and left to accommodate other patrons wanting a spot. I would definitely recommend this place but would be nice to see it better staffed. It seems like their menu drinks rotate with the seasons or for some other reason so you may not always find the same menu when you return. I will be back! Gave this a 4* due to wait time and staffing.
Stopped in to 2NW5 on our way to a show. Shelby and Ash were phenomenal. They were friendly and knowledgeable and made this stop an unexpected highlight of our trip.
Perfect cocktails. Amazingly fresh seafood. As always, the ceviche is out of this world. Love the swanky speakeasy atmosphere!
2NW5 is a stylish and inviting bar with a great atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The highlight was undoubtedly the service—Shelby was attentive, friendly, and crafted the best Hugo Spritz I’ve ever had. Refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented, it made the whole experience unforgettable.
Super cool and moody speakeasy in downtown Portland. The vibe is very chill, drinks are really great. Don’t forget to ‘knock, knock, knock’
