Very nice coffee shop. Came here on a Sunday morning to get a few cups of coffee and some beans to make at home. I'm not usually a coffee shop person, but the staff was very friendly with making recommendations. I ended up getting a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso and some flavoring. It was fantastic. They even gave my 2 year old daughter an empty cup of her own to play with. The atmosphere is very nice inside with light music playing and comfortable seating. Outdoor seating wasn't much of an option because it was very cold, but it looked like a nice outdoor space as well. They sell their own roasted coffee beans here as well to take home. They also have a selection of apparel and assorted other items you can purchase.
This coffee shop is cute! Very difficult for the first time to find where to park. There is also not a lot of parking spaces. The breakfast sandwich is very good. The coffee is good but very sweet. The staff was supper nice. This coffee shop also supports local artist in the area which is super fantastic.
The coffee is very freah and flavorful. I did nit try any of the food but theyvhave a variety of breakfast and lunch options. It is located not far from down town in a nice area. The builduling that its connected to is very nice to walk around inside. Plentyvof outside seating. Clean and welcoming place with freindly staff. I bought a pound of coffee thatvis actually 16oz or 1 pound. Its sad so many coffee roasters downgraded their 1 pound coffee to only 12oz. I also purched some 24 pod boxes as gifts
I visited this adorable coffee shop today because I read it is the oldest coffee shop on Knoxville! The building has been updated to fit the farmhouse style and it is cute! I ordered a London Fog with Oat Milk. It was almost $5 for the small which I thought was a bit steep, however, the atmosphere made the cost worth it.i highly recommend seeing The Golden Roast!
Their coffee was amazing and made as I ordered. They used fresh ingredients with my food and had amazing customer service! The atmosphere was just as good as the coffee, and when I first walked in I didn’t feel overwhelmed by choices. The lady that took my order made it easy to find what I wanted and she was super friendly and welcoming. I will be returning!
Stopped by the Golden Roast about a week ago for some post-camping coffee. Great service and great Americano! They even brought out a little water cup and "pup-cup" for our little four legged companion! I've been enjoying the Costa Rica single origin at home ever since! Phenomenal coffee!
This is going to be a really nice spot in the neighborhood no matter the season - the fire pit is pretty awesome (inside is nice too of course). WiFi was a little spotty the day I was there - will check in again soon - otherwise, a similar Roast experience now on Sutherland :)
The coffee and breakfast sandwich we got were phenomenal! I loved the atmosphere as well. The friendliness of the staff could have been better, as I felt like I was bothering them by being there. Overall a good experience and would definitely go back for the coffee and atmosphere.
