La Gitana Bakery has some truly delicious, fresh cakes that are worth trying. The quality of the baked goods definitely stands out. However, the service wasn’t as friendly or attentive as expected. If you’re going just for the sweets, it’s a great stop, but don’t expect top-notch customer service.
It's probably the best colombian coffee spot on jamaica Ave. I can really say they never dissapoint. The empanadas are perfect, and coffee is good. Havent tried the lunch but if everything else is good what can you expect.
Pretty good cheesecake. Cannoli is fairly subpar, though.
It's a small place but has tables. The bakery choices are varied and they have hot food and soups. I enjoy the pan de bono and the croissants.
Workers are friendly and place is clean. Pastries are good. The hot food looks delicious but don't know how good it is because only went for coffee and dessert. They don't have an espresso machine but the regular coffee was good.
Great food, great coffee, perfect service. The lady behind the counter didn't speak much English, we didn't speak much Spanish but still she managed to advise us on selecting a typical Colombian breakfast. The place is clean spotless and smells nice. The TV on the wall featuring a Colombian soap opera called "Tormentos de Pasiones" only added to the atmosphere :) I am looking forward to visiting again!
The place seemed comfortable to sit n eat. There were many people who were entering this establishment, for their orders to take out. Nice assortment of pastries aside from the food.
The cakes are awesome as well as staff. Very polite and professional.
