I stayed not far from here for almost 2 weeks with my fiancé. I only wish we had found it sooner during our stay! It was our favorite place to eat in the area! Absolutely delicious! The empanadas are very addicting! We ate there a couple times a day for almost a week. Everything we had was very delicious! The staff were very friendly! I look forward to going back!
Wonderful New Spot in Playa del Carmen! This Colombian restaurant recently relocated, and the new location is a huge improvement—more spacious and inviting. The menu and overall food quality offer a truly authentic Colombian culinary experience. We were a group of four for dinner and enjoyed every dish we ordered: the delicious Bandeja Paisa, fresh Maracuyá juice, and Colombian empanadas made with fried corn dough, beef, and a homemade picante casero that was full of flavor. I was especially excited to see Changua (a traditional Colombian milk and egg soup usually served for breakfast) on the menu—and even though it wasn't available at dinner, the chef kindly made one just for me. That gesture alone made the night extra special. Every dish was rich in taste and prepared with care. Our server was warm, attentive, and wore beautiful traditional Colombian clothing, adding a cultural touch to the experience. Highly recommended if you want a break from Mexican cuisine and are curious to explore the delicious flavors of Colombia!
We stumbled upon this little Colombian restaurant in Playa del Carmen and had such a fun, welcoming experience. The decor is eclectic and lively, setting the tone right away. Our waiter was an absolute delight — sweet, friendly, and incredibly helpful as we navigated a menu that was new to us. He even brought us free samples to try, dressed us up in traditional Colombian accessories for photos, and joined us in the pictures, which made the meal feel really special and memorable. The food was tasty, and while I suspect some dishes might really shine with meat, we’re vegetarian and still found good options on the menu. Overall, it was a joyful experience with great hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Playa del Carmen!
Stayed at the Wyndham Resort down the street, this is a hidden gem . Real authentic Colombian cuisine to enjoy. My wife had the Salmon and loved it. Highly recommended, 5 stars.
Delicious food and climatic place a bit away from the main 5th Av. P

I haven't written a review in years but the Plato Paisa deserved a review. To say I was impressed is an understatement.... Full of flavor and portion just right. That hit all the right spots.
