Make a reservation! We got very lucky we were coming from Broward County all the way to sw 8 Street and they were very accommodating. They got us a table even though we did not have a reservation. The music was amazing. The food was delicious. It’s a beautiful setting and we had such a great time. I must do on a Saturday night. The music starts around nine.
This place is different because it has Roberto Mongeotti, an exceptional singer who performs Monday through Thursday and sings everything from classical songs to bachata. We go at least three days a week. The people applaud him enthusiastically during many of his songs.
For those unaware of what happens when they call for a pick up order and they do not show up, that food is wasted. SO in order for your order to be done by the time you arrive do tell the person you want to pay for your order. THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE FOOD TO BE READY ! The food here is amazing THEY HAVE WHOLE SNAPPERS, LOBSTER, SHRIMP AND GREAT STEAKS !! IS NOT JUST A CUBAN RESTAURANT IS A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT WITH THE CUBAN SASON !!!!
Authentic Cuban Flavor with Exceptional Service! Wajiros Restaurant is a true gem for anyone looking to experience authentic Cuban cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish packed with rich, traditional flavors. The churrasco marinero is perfectly seasoned and tender, while the langosta al ajillo is spectacular on the outside and juicy inside—just the way it should be! Their maduros and croquetas de bacalao are must-try sides that complete the meal beautifully. And let’s not forget the cafecito—strong, sweet, and the perfect way to finish off an amazing dining experience. Service is top-notch, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the overall ambiance captures the essence of Cuban culture. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Wajiros is a must-visit spot for an unforgettable Cuban feast! The most important recommendation: Do not miss the live show ! Absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended—can’t wait to come back!
Only reason I give it four stars is because our waitress was extremely slow despite the restaurant being almost empty for the amount of workers. But other workers were very helpful and nice. The food was great and so was the price. Entertainment was a nice addition. It was just one man singing but he was quite good and took suggestions from audience. Drink-wise, I would stick with mojitos.
!! you want to eat at ease and enjoy a pleasant moment !! This is the place, the food is excellent, the drinks too, the shrimp are super fresh, Alain was the waiter who served us, very attentive and willing to provide the best service, although the prices are not the cheapest on the market, the quality has a price, I want to thank the new administration. without a doubt I will return
Good place to eat Cuban food. Just be careful the tip is included as “service Fee”. Some people don’t read the bill and instead of saying “Additional tip” it just says “Tip”. I gave the service a 4 star because the waiter brought us the water Jar with no glasses we have to ask for it. And we also have to ask for the breads. Other than that the food is very good and the Mojitos as well!
