When i first walked in I was flooded with memories from the smells alone. Although im German, it was like being in my grandma's kitchen. Bread, meat, hot dishes, salads all amazing. The staff is polite and friendly. Lots of imported foods to choose from, reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!!
They have the best pazcki. Everything is delicious and staff is wonderful.
Yum! Amazing hot bar. Delicious perogis and potato pancakes. Great stocking stuffers too. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff too!!!
It was my first visit. Everything I bought was delicious. Can't wait to go back.
love the food available at Gorka Deli! whether it's bread, a variety of sausage links, Danish and cookies, many different soup and more...Gorka Polish Deli has it! love the Bigos!
Stopped by for some lunch today, gorka deli has amazing options for hot foods, I got the chicken noodle soup (delicious) and their cooked cabbage is absolutely amazing. Great place and great people, I highly recommend checking them out!
One of the best Polish delis in the area! The hot food counter offers fresh, authentic homemade Polish meals with a huge variety at affordable prices—perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner. Grab a large container of their warm chicken noodle soup or explore the fridge for more options. The pierogi are outstanding—dozens of varieties available. My Polish family loves them, and we rarely make our own anymore. I stick to classics like potato-cheese and sauerkraut-mushroom, but the beef ones are delicious too (try them with red sauce—you'll forget ravioli exists!). The kopytka are spot-on, just like my babcia used to make. The bakery and bread section can be hit-or-miss depending on timing, but don't skip the daily specials at the top of the deli counter—they're unique, tasty, and often limited, so I grab extras for the freezer when I spot a favorite. Staff are always helpful and courteous, with no language barriers. This hidden gem is a must-visit.
I have been coming in for years to shop. I buy the Racine Bakery Raisin Bread, the Mushroom soup, like the hot deli fresh Polish and Kraut Pierogi. Also the Macaroni salad. It's not saturated with mayo but crunchy from celery and very small red peppers and carrot. I also buy lunch meats and cheese. Friendly staff always.
