Fantastic! Service is quick and friendly. I come out this way for work and decided to stop in. Chicken salad sandwich is delicious. Fresh juicy tomatoes on homemade bread! I got a slice of cake also, yum! Will be back everytime im out here.
Always amazing. Homemade EVERYTHING! Bread, desserts, canned delights. Randy and the team are GREAT people!
Mmm.Chicken Salad sandwich on fresh baked bread --toasted. So good. And an array of Blue Bell ice cream flavors for dessert. Sounds like a retro dream of when I didn't have to count calories! Well, it IS a rather retro '50's feeling kind of shop! Great service and attached to an antique mall for some shopping fun if you want to walk off that ice cream cone! Check them out! Oh, and that Chicken Salad sandwich is highly recommended!
Extremely friendly and eager to make sure your entire experience is the best. Fried bologna was great! Also recommend Buttermilk pie and Cheesecake. Today was actually my wife’s birthday so I asked if they had a candle since we just flew in today and they not only came through but sang to her also. They made today a great day!! Highly recommend!!
An absolute gem! I accidentally stumbled upon this place while shopping at the Cedar Chest. I had the soup of the day which was chicken & dumplings and a grilled cheese on homemade bread. I seriously had no idea this place existed but I am sure glad I found it. The people were so sweet & the food was delicious
Found this gem today between Mcgregor and Waco on Hwy. 84. Wonderful service, exquisitely clean, and delicious food. We both had a salad with warm chicken breast oranges, pecans and feta. It was great! Best part was the homemade pies! Lots of homemade breads, preserves, pies! The Lemon Meringue is to die for! Open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm.
Amazing food and service, very polite and willing to let you try the food. Their fire crackers are my favorite!! Will definitely be a repeat customer over and over! If your around the area you must stop by!
Excellent food we had the party melt and chicken salad sandwich. Owner is very nice and his wife makes the pies and cakes homemade. Strongly suggest you try the Coconut cream pie and the peach tea. As a bonus next door is the biggest antique mall I've ever been too. Love this place. Everything is good except the calories.
