Stopped by Anchor Bay Pit Stop Diner for the first time and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Chicken Strip Hanni, and it was very good — fresh, filling, and paired with hot, crispy fries. Exactly what you want from a classic diner meal. The service truly stood out. The girls working were incredibly friendly — we were greeted right when we walked in and thanked again on our way out. That kind of personal, small-town hospitality goes a long way. To top it off, I was given a complimentary chocolate chip cookie — totally unexpected. When I asked about it, they simply said, “Just because we appreciate you and your business.” That moment says everything about this place. The diner was hopping and very busy, which is always a great sign. The food is solid, the atmosphere is welcoming, and everything is very reasonably priced. They truly live up to being your friendly neighborhood pit stop. This was my first time at the Pit Stop — and definitely not my last.

The gals gather once a month at the Pit Stop in New Baltimore for a nice little breakfast, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and hot, the prices are right, and the waitresses are consistently friendly and welcoming. It’s an awesome local diner with a cozy, hometown feel—and there’s always great conversation. Always look forward to the monthly visits!

This place has been absolutely wonderful! I live in Warren and I came out here for business so I figured I'd stop in. I was NOT disappointed! AMAZING food, service, coffee, atmosphere, etc! Very clean, friendly, and delicious! I definitely recommend this place to anyone! I got the iced coffee with caramel and oat milk and the downtown breakfast burrito with queso. Very very good!

Pit Stop is an awesome little diner with a huge heart! The staff is always so friendly, and their drive thru is extremely efficient! I tried the Tuesday burger special and I honestly say it’s one of my top 3 burgers. It was a huge patty, cooked to order (pink center for me, which they nailed!), and was very flavorful! The fries that came with it was a big portion and were delicious! The potato skins were yummy and had lots of bacon topping. I have also had their fish dinner on a Friday night, which is definitely a solid go-to if you like fish n’ chips. I was extremely impressed with the packaging, the tin foil lining in the container kept the burger from getting soggy. It was a nice touch! Love supporting small local businesses like this!

What a delightful diner! From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. They seemed to know every other person who came in, greeting them with heartfelt warmth. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and portions for several dishes are large enough to share or leave you with leftovers for lunch the next day. My Greek skillet was excellent--prepared exactly as I ordered it and with enough of each ingredient that every bite was delicious. Their rye toast has seeds and is fabulous too, bursting with rye flavor. Tables and chairs were clean, as was the bathroom. I'd come here just for the friendly service, but the fact that they also have great food and reasonable prices puts this at the top of my list for places to eat when we're out this way for horse shows. Definitely give Anchor Bay a try!

Awesome little place. They were slammed when we went in around 11 on a Saturday, but the waitstaff was still attentive and lovely. Kim took care of us, she was very welcoming, warm, and let me know about when I could get their delicious mushroom Swiss burger on special. Will be coming back for sure!
