It was so very crowded but it was a quick in and out. I can't say enough about everything, food and service very good. The waitress checked with us several times to make sure we were okay and liked everything. Very good prices. and a charming gentleman to open the door for us (I hope you leave him a tip)!
I had a fantastic experience at Dundee Diner! I ordered the country breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly savory and hit the spot. What really made the meal special was our server, Liza. She was amazing! Not only did she know the menu thoroughly to give great recommendations, but she also truly connected with us, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find that blend of great food and genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
Homey breakfast/lunch joint. I had the Spanish omelette & my boyfriend had the fried catfish. We both enjoyed our meals, and while it wasn't spectacular, it was still yummy. They give really big portions too. We were both hungry at first but struggling to finish by the end. I was glad we stopped in.

Fantastic experience at this Diner! First, their pancakes are the best! I couldn't stop eating them! Every food item we had at our table was wonderful. All of the items are fresh and good. We wven tried the homestyle potatoes fried which was a suprising treat! The service was amazing as well. Every employee we encountered was polite, friendly, and professional. A must try in the area for a fantastic breakfast!
This was a taste of home! They've got hospitality down. We were greeted quickly and seated right away. The server was absolutely fantastic and quite personable. We stopped in for breakfast on our second day. The food... delicious, and the portion size filled you up with leftovers to warm up later. If you're visiting from out of town, this is the place to go.
First time visiting today and we were pleasantly surprised. This little diner has been hiding from us! First let me say it is super clean inside and well lit. The service was quick and very friendly. They have a modest menu with great selection for breakfast. We were pleased with the portion sizes and the flavor was magnificent. I really enjoyed the potatoes and how they were cooked perfectly. They put real toppings in their omelettes and you will not leave hungry. We will be back! This was an amazing breakfast spot.
Best diner in all of Polk County if not all of Florida. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my meal. The food has always been great, but what really sets the place apart from the rest is the service. Mona and Kelly both do an excellent job, but the most impressive part is the teamwork from the entire staff. Kudos to ownership/management, you can tell that the staff genuinely enjoys their job and work so well together. Very nice to see. Great job Dundee Diner! I’ll be back every time I come to visit from NC!
