Great catfish!! I don’t even like catfish, but I liked that! Great macaroni salad as well. However, I got something they called “Center-cut country ham dinner” - which was absolutely the skimpiest slice of ham I’ve ever seen or even heard of. As you can see from the photo, it was literally the same thickness as the fork - about 1/8 of an inch at best. By contrast, the catfish portion was HUGE! So, bottom line - go, but ask questions if you order the ham!!
Delicious and very satisfying! My wife got the open faced turkey sandwich, made with real turkey, and cream of potato soup. Both were excellent! I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries that really hit the spot. It was all out quick too. The ladies working were super friendly, funny, and the whole place just had a great vibe! Definitely recommended if you're looking for a quick and satisfying dinner!
Super friendly waitresses who provide amazing service. Well seasoned and affordable comfort food.
This place may make me visit the in laws more. A great small local diner is hard to beat. The Sunrise Burger and fries were plate finishers, the perfect size, and for $12 My local diner would charge $19 for the equivalent. A quality family owned restaurant. I loved the local atmosphere as well.
The food was good, but I wouldn't say it's the best. The staff was super nice, and everyone around me seemed to be enjoying the food and having a great time. 7.5/10, would recommend.
Stopped here on the way back to SC from PA. They don't open until 7am but were kind enough to accommodate us at 6:30. I had a scrapple and egg on toasted rye. My wife had the corned beef hash and eggs. Good food served quickly and prompt wait service. Only a couple of miles off I-81. Give them a try!
I love this place. The food is great and they have selections like my grandma would make. The staff is always friendly and helpful for me and my family.
Great local diner. Food was great and service was fast and friendly.
