Boone County Family Restaurant

The food was absolutely delicious! The prices were super affordable as well our family of 8 I couldn't believe the portions! The waitress was kind and quick! We will definitely be back.

We went to Edward's Apple Orchard and then wanted to find a place to grab breakfast. We searched Google and Boone County Family Restaurant came up. We decided to give it a try and it was really good! They had a very good breakfast selection and the staff was super nice. We will be back!!!

Clean, small business feel in a country diner with kind, accommodating staff. The business is bustling and you will see the owner working among his employees, setting the standard. Very nice staff and delicious food. Breakfast was swedish pancakes and eggs with oatmeal and banana. Definitely full and very fair prices for what you get. Full bar seating along with tables and booths. Parking in the rear.

I had already posted two pictures from my last couple visits, but I didn't officially write my review. I must say, I wish I could go there right now but my kids are under the weather. This place feels like home. From the start we had a lovely waitress who did not rush me when I was so indecisive because the menu has SOO many delicious options... Her service was amazing. I forgot her name but she wore glasses. There was this gentleman, I think his name was Val? I wanted to give him a special shout out because he literally kept coming with the coffee so it stayed full and warm the entire visit. And then the food itself has been perfect every time, fresh and flavorful and served pretty quickly. No complaints whatsoever. My favorite has been the corned beef and cabbage! So I apologize for the duplicate pics. It was a huge portion that tasted even better when I devoured my leftovers the following day. I can't wait to go back, and soon to bring the kids with me as well ! It's the perfect family restaurant. I haven't had dinner there yet but I'm confident it would not disappoint

I had just said to my "co-pilot" wouldn't it be nice to find a diner before we hop on the interstate?!....and there at the corner was this perfect breakfast spot!!! Excellent food, better service and we enjoyed the counter stools. The entire staff was a gift!

Service is incredibly fast, but still friendly. Honestly… they might fill your coffee before you even sit down! It’s probably because so many staff members have been at this locally-owned favorite for years. The food isn’t fancy, but if you enjoy good portions of breakfast classics at a reasonable cost, then this is your place.

This diner has fantastic food, very good quality ingredients for a great price. We had the Reuben and Monte Cristo, with soup, fries and iced tea. The Reuben was to die for, amazing corned beef and great kraut. Would recommend to anyone else passing through.
