You can’t beat the price and service. The food comes out hot and fast. Coffee flowed freely & we enjoyed our family breakfast.
Wow, fast breakfast! I wasn't feeling fast food, so I thought I'd give this a try. Glad I did! It was fast food speed and sit down & enjoy quality. Right on target.
Great food. Service can be iffy from the wait staff. Sometimes you get a great waitress or waiter and sometimes you don’t. Parking lot has rules so be careful which space you occupy. Try their stuffed flounder and their country fried steak. Both great. Their coffee is great too.
Really good just southern cooking for that fella like home.
Food is outstanding! Fried flounder is flaky but soft where you'd want it to be and crispy likewise. I think their cabbage is my favorite side. It's well seasoned and tender My takeout order today was waiting for me when I got there. I discovered East 74 while working in Matthews. I might actually brave the terrible traffic back to Matthews just to eat here!!
I've been coming here for years and never had a bad meal here.. Anna is my waitress for most of those years and love that she always on her game . I do wish they would serve chicken and dumplings more than on Tuesday. They are some of the best in charlotte .. Also, they do serve liver and onions every day, and it's very good if you like liver. Freshly made soups every day and very good Greek Salads . They also hav very good vegan or vegetarian options. Just a great around restaurant and worth your time to try out .. they serve breakfast till 2pm everyday .
The flounder fish, homemade onions, French fries and the hush puppies. Great customer service
Jackie was very good. She kept our drinks filled and the food was awesome. I had pancakes and sausage with scrambled eggs burnt. Excellent. My husband had eggs and bacon with hash browns and grits on the side with toast
