Came and have dinner with my mom , this place is beyond amazing. If google had unlimited starts I would check that off. Food was delicious, fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken and waffles and this chicken was crunchy on outside and so moist on inside. I found my favorite place to eat when it comes to chicken. Don’t hesitate , try it out. You won’t regret it.

I got myself the 3 piece lemon, pepper chicken with mac and cheese and it was all fantastic. The chicken was made on order so the chicken was fresh and warm when I was served. The mac and cheese was nostalgic to some of the mac and cheese I had in my hometown area. As a little bonus, I ended up getting a waffle with my meal and it really compliment the chicken. The service was excellent and the owner was so sweet and helpful during the ordering process when it was my first time ordering. The storefront was clean and spacious too. Highly recommended coming here and I will be retuning soon to try the other spice flavors for the chicken.

Savory chicken and waffles, delicious! We got the 3 piece Cajun dark meat meal and the 2 piece original white meal meal. The chicken is huge, it comes out hot and ready! The waffle was also tasty, I like how it wasn't overly sweet. I feel like a lot of places dump sugar all over their waffles, so this was a welcome change! The staff was also really sweet. The manager and the cook were a 10/10. I'd definitely recommend for people in the mood for some fried chicken and waffles! They also have a lot of sides to choose from, as well as chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. It hits the spot!

The picture won’t do it justice, but they have the best fried chicken in town! Made to order so takes a little time but it’s worth it. Good hearted people and good food.

The BEST Chicken & Waffles! Food is fresh, hot, delicious and sooo flavorful! Everything tastes amazing! The service is wonderful, very attentive and courteous! I can't wait to eat there again!!

The food is excellent, some of the best fried chicken in the area. I had the lemon pepper battering, and it was divine. The problem is the prices are a bit outrageous. They aren’t located in a high traffic area, or even remotely close to campus. There is no reason for the price gouging.

Big personalities, they wew nice for our first visit at JLM's today going with my dad who uses a wheelchair. They are the most ADA welcoming we have found in town. Ms. Juanita, the owner, was welcoming (as can be seen by her posing with my dad in two of the photos at the table, she has an exuberant personality ) and so was her best friend Ms. Rita and everyone else there that we met. If you want fresh, make it once you order local cuisine, this is the place, we had a long wait but I think it was because they dropped the chicken in the oil once we ordered as it was very fresh.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our experience! We were just passing by as they were opening and thought we’d give the place a try. They had our food out quickly despite barely just opening. Several of the staff including the owner came out to check on us, and made fun light conversation. Not to mention, the FOOD WAS THE BOMB!! JLM’s had a very Mom & Pop type atmosphere which is more often than not, where you’ll find the best eats around. I’m happy to say, they did not disappoint. If you’ve never had chicken and waffles before, you owe it to yourself to try JLM’s, and if you have, but are looking to take things up a few notches, then this is the place to do it! Thank you JLM’s we’ll definitely be returning customers from here on out!
