I stopped in the Ladysmith Family Restaurant one day while on the road and looking for a good local lunch. I ended up coming across this local diner and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed a BLT with fries and a Sprite on a comfortable seat. The BLT was great, good balance of ingredients and the bacon was nicely well-done. I also liked the fries - well-done too. All of the people I encountered were very friendly - the host and waitress. The restaurant was also very clean, including the bathroom which I really liked. Overall, the Ladysmith Family Restaurant is an excellent local diner and a great spot to stop by for lunch.
Went here on the 27th of February... Not a bad place at all, friendly service, decent food and nice southern like atmosphere. The only thing I really have to say is it is a bit on the pricey side, but overall it is pretty good. I recommend coming here.
It was very nice place great location The service was very nice and quick I just did a takeout order but I got greeted by a couple of people and they made sure I was taking care of... But I got meatloaf and mashed potatoes and they're both so-so in my opinion.. meatloaf with bland mashed potatoes were kind of dry.. But that does not mean I'm not going back to try other things..
Stopped for lunch after an appointment in Ladysmith. Tried the Ladysmith burger with mushrooms and bacon on it, with the lettuce, tomato and onions on the side; and French fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy with plenty of mushrooms on top and melted cheese, with crispy bacon strips. Fresh crispy lettuce leaf and sliced tomato on top made for a delicious addition to an already great burger. The pickles are awesome! Tangy yet crispy and delicious! French fries were golden brown and crispy, with a few that little bit darker brown for the extra crunch that I personally love. Pair that with a cold glass of raspberry flavored iced tea and I have to say it was a winner of a lunch! Generously portioned, half pound burgers, and plenty of French fries rounded out the plate very nicely! I'm sure we will be going there again as we will have other appointments in the area. Thank you for a lovely lunch at a very nice restaurant with friendly staff.
We were at a neighboring town for basketball. We stopped here for lurch. The food came out to the table fast and hot. We all enjoyed or meals, reasonably priced.
Easy to find. Big parking lot. Clean, lots of room. We arrived less than an hour before closing, but never felt rushed. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great! Huge portions. We had the hot beef and hot turkey sandwiches, and the chicken dumpling soup. All were worth a second trip if we're ever in the area again. Gabriella was our amazing waitress. She was genuinely interested in us. So attentive and friendly! Unusual to find in someone so young these days.
Awesome family restaurant in a great town. Stopped at McDonald's on the way to the lake and spent $30 for two people. Stopped here on the way home and only spent $35 for home cooking. Awesome servers.
Small town restaurant with great service and good food. Clean overall. We ordered pancakes. Would definitely go back
