Salty Bear Family Grill

The cheeseburger was good-large bun-sized patty-just not as flavorful as I'd hoped. The gyro was very good and the fries were excellent! I also liked the fry sauce. I will say they get 1000 points for their presentation-they care about how their food comes out and take your concerns seriously(not our food but another customers)

Had an amazing cheeseburger and fries at Salty Bear! The burger was cooked perfectly, super flavorful, and the fries were hot, crispy, and delish! Just like Chicago!!! The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to — highly recommend!

We have eaten @ Salty Bear when they had a food truck & loved their food! We are so excited that they now have a restaurant, which is open year-round (a HUGE plus for Bear Lake)! This was our first time @ the new restaurant & still LOVE the food! I had the gyro & fries (DELICIOUS) & my husband had the tri-tip steak sandwich (SO YUMMY)! Their food is the best, the restaurant was clean & cozy (with a LARGE screen tv), excellent customer service, & clean restrooms (always a plus)! They have a large patio area which will be perfect in the summer, as well. WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT SALTY BEAR NOW HAS A NEW BEAR LAKE HOME!!!!

This food was absolutely AMAZING! The shakes are full of flavor and definitely thick, not runny or watery at all!! We also got the Curry and Greek Fries, and they were sooo delicious!! 10/10 would definitely come again!!

This was our first visit to Salty Bear, just outside the typical season for the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The portions were generous, larger than expected, but everything we ordered was excellent. The staff were friendly, the tables were spacious enough for a family, and we appreciated the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by for fries and milkshakes. They were closing up, but the owner was super kind and fixed us food anyway. We got a raspberry shake, raspberry lemonade shake, and an order of fries. Everything was 10/10 delicious.

Our first visit was a welcome surprise. My husband smelled meat smoking and asked about it so they served him right up even though it wasn’t on the menu yet. Even whipped up a personal coleslaw when they ran out just for him. Great service. Thanks, Ryan! The gyro and fried were also fantastic! Generous portions and convenient location. So glad they were open later than we expected. Perfect meal for a cold night in Garden City. Found a new fav!

Fantastic food! We had the gyro with Greek fries, spicy scone burger with nacho fries, and a kids meal. Special fries were well worth the upgrade. They had coloring pages for the toddler. Better food than some of the main Street places, better parking, and way faster service. Everything tasted delicious! Better prices than the main Street places as well. This is a hidden gem with good food, clean bathrooms, and plenty of seating.
