Six Star Family Restaurant & Coney Island

Typical diner experience. Big menu, lots of choices. My cousin had an absolutely HUGE Cobb salad. She said it was delicious. Someone else tried fish (not sure which kind, sorry) and said they liked it. Soup was good too.

Visited many times and most times very good! Unfortunately last time order was wrong and wasn’t offered to fix so I didn’t enjoy tried to call but wasn’t taken seriously, but I’ll hope to return, sometimes not greeted in good time, sometimes the crowds cause anxiety a bit but that’s my own problem. Great cake slices up front. Update: lovely gal today 2/5 approved remake and delicious! No complaints!

We had breakfast, Friday morning around 8:00 am. It was our first time here, everyone was friendly! From people I had talked to earlier, said that Six Stars was a very good family restaurant to eat at, I was surprised that they weren’t very busy! Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, she knew the menu, and prices for additional items! After taking our order there was about a five (5) minute wait and breakfast was served! We ordered Vegetable Egg Omelettes, I ordered Feta Cheese as an extra, Bill ordered American Fried potatoes as a side, and I ordered pancakes as my side! The food was prepared to perfection and was tasty and Delicious! Breakfast was $15.56 and Definitely Delicious ! Our waitress did an Excellent Job! Definitely a Very Pleasant Eating and Dining Experience! Great Job ! The Restaurant Was VERY CLEAN Also!

Every other restaurant in the area was packed and had waits of an hour or more. We called Six Star, and they had no wait, so we drove there. We were seated with no wait, as informed on our call with them. The decor is modern and was clean. Staff greeted us at the door and were very cordial. I ordered the Saturday special (surf and turf), and my wife ordered the fried chicken dinner. We both ordered salads with ranch and honey mustard. The honey mustard was home-made with miracle whip or mayonnaise and was terrible. I re-ordered ranch instead. The 10 oz. NY steak and shrimp (3) looked good and came with a choice of potato, soup or salad, vegetable, and bread basket with seasame bread sticks. Steak was cooked as ordered and was good. The steak knives are very flimsy and could be replaced with a better knife. Some of the peas (peas and carrots) seemed undercooked and were firm and crunchy. My wife stated her meal was good, but the breading on the chicken seemed bland to the taste. This could be just an individual taste experience. Service to the table was better than expected. Same owners as the Six Star restaurant on West rd in Woodhaven. 4 stars

Me & my boyfriend ate here last night and it genuinely was a super great experience! The waitress was kind, the food was really yummy & came out super fast, & it was quiet and cozy in the restaurant. I wish our waitress would’ve checked on us a little sooner or maybe once more but all around she was kind, food was great, and we’ll definitely be back

Went here with my family and we had a lovely experience. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly from the moment we walk through the door. They offer a variety of different food options and choices. The ended up going with a few of the scrambles and they were incredible! This is a perfect little coney island and we recommend it to anyone in the area!

The food was delicious. After we ate we took home 60 dollars worth of carry out .. the server was excellent n helped with all our choices and was SPOT ON i will definitely be back!!!!

I ordered the Slim Jim and my lady had the pancakes with ham, bacon, and hashbrowns. The food was very good, and fresh. Our service was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. We will absolutely return in the future.
