We love going to the Legion / Hideout for drinks and delicious food. Reasonable price for lots of food and great servers, great atmosphere. Couldn't get any better then this I also love that you can tip there cooks. It's something everyplace should do. Great job guys keep it up!
Stopped here on a road trip. Portions were huge and. Food was great.

This is a bar and restaurant at the American Legion. As you walk in is the bar area, then some tables with pool tables and HD sports TVs, and further in is the main seating area. Ordered a pot roast sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Waitress was wonderful, helpful, and attentive. Place was clean and well lit. The sandwich was amazing and filling. I did not expect this quality of service and amazingly delicious food here. Great place to eat and watch sports.
Good stuff for good prices! Friend of mine told me the burgers here were great and it did not disappoint! One thing they are known for is crawfish and my friend got a crawfish wrap and said it was also very tasty. Can’t wait to come back!
Our first time in and we will definitely return on our next visit to Morris. I'm not sure I have ever had a burger this tall before, I had to take more than half home for later. The beef was very well seasoned which made this one of the best burgers I have had. The onion rings on top had a very light and tasty breading and could be a perfect appetizer. The hubby got the pork nachos and he really enjoyed them. The chips were fresh, light and crispy. We did try the "rolls" and decided to do one of each flavor. They were all yummy the Macaroni and Cheese with bacon were our top favorite. I wish I had gotten more photos. The portion sizes were generous. The Moscow Mule was perfectly made, allowing the ginger beer and lime to shine. Service with a smile and a friendly staff rounds out a great dining experience.
This is by far the best place to eat in Morris!!! I eat here numerous times a week. The regulars are a hoot to be around... great people! The staff are always welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you have not! Don't miss out on their wings! Absolutely delicious!
Can't believe I missed out on this gem all these years! They know what they're doing!! Absolutely delicious, well-made food that stands out in comparison to a lot of the other places in town. Will be coming back! One of my new favorites
