Down home country cooking and excellent fast service! Prices were excellent and portions were generous! Had a BLT and Baked Potato Soup! Amazing!

Really surprised at this place. Haven't eaten at 1 for many years. Was up that way and a friend took me there. Not bad and good service.
September 14, 2025 around 7:10- 7:15 pm Drive- thru was very, very, very, slow. Person taking orders has absolutely no customer service skills. Came on mic , person didn't say Hello, welcome to Bantem Chef just "RUDE" RUDE, RUDE....... Please train staff to be more polite and helpful while working at your Business. Overall Customer Service on the drive- thru was a 0........ If the employees don't have any customer service skills they shouldn't be allowed on the drive- thru window. The kind of service we received this evening is the kind of service that I know the Owner Beth Lancaster nor Michelle would not tolerate. If you don't want to work and be pleasant when working the drive- thru just clock out and go home.... It doesn't cost anything to be NICE..... RESPECTFULLY, Linda Dunlap
Just got a cheese steak with extra meat and cheese and it was prime time! Best cheese steak I've had since moving to the south about 15 yrs ago. Fries were perfect...service was fast and food was hot. Thank you for making lunch taste so yummy. Appreciate the entire staff
Great milkshakes, best in town. The food is hit and miss, but most of it is prepared with care. The food looks very appealing to sight and smell. All in all, it's not a bad place to grab a burger and shake. Especially the shakes.
Drive thru is super slow...The coleslaw is the best I have ever had... great salad and chili bean and the rest of the food is pretty good.. service is ok as well... the prices are a little high but I think that's because the portions are pretty large.. they have a good size menu with a lot of options... they serve breakfast lunch and dinner
Philly cheese steak and cheeseburger were very good. Onion rings were the best!!! Atmosphere: needs some cleaning, but not too bad. Definitely worth a try if you're close
