D'antons Coney Island

I've been familiar with them since I was a young child. I haven't been in so many years (at least 15). Me and hubby went yesterday because I always tell him how good I remember them being. He's a chef and not easily impressed and he's also from Detroit where they are known for their coney islands. Well, the results are in and he was highly impressed! It took me back and the taste hasn't changed AT ALL! Thank you guys for remaining the same as most restaurants haven't and don't seem to care anymore. We will definitely be regular supporters oh the pickles picture I just thought was funny because I always ask for extra pickles and they definitely made sure I had them!!

It's a small, simple Coney Island that does good food! They have good burgers, fries and ranch dressing, patty melt, club sandwiches, and chicken pita. It's a no frills place, but the service is quick and friendly and the food is good, fast and hot. Highly recommend.

They were great. The food was great, had that urban twist to it vs. a chain restaurant. But what really did it for me was the fast service AND I spilled my drink at the table, and before I even turned my cup upright, the lady was out with a towel to clean the table and the floor. I barely had time to react and she's on it as quick as a breath lol! Yeah, great service!

Had a bacon cheeseburger from there yesterday. First time there. Thank baby Jesus they close at 6 pm. Otherwise I’d be there every morning and night. Burger was delicious, fries were amazing! Service was great! I’m getting ready to grab a pillow and sleeping bag to sleep out there tonight so I’m the first one when they open. This is going to be a problem! Too delicious!

Watched the Coney Bros review on YouTube. They gave the coney a high score so I had to try it out myself. Good solid Coney. Friendly people inside made it a good experience.

Best Coney in Pontiac! Visiting from Florida and love their breakfast. Pancakes are delicious!

I'm from upstate NY and was in the area for work training, looking for a good lunch spot. Within 2 steps in the front door, I knew I was in the right place. It was very clear that this is where the neighborhood locals eat. My coworker and I were quickly greeted by one of their great employees and our order was taken at lightning speed. I've been here now on 4 different occasions with months in between and every time, I swear it's the best damn bacon cheeseburger I've ever had every single time. Not to mention the addictive and delicious mountain of fries served with it. I wouldn't change a thing about this place, and I make sure to stop if I'm ever in the area! Sidenote - I won't even tell anybody at my training the name of it or where it is because I don't want my favorite lunch spot to get too blown up. IYKYK
