We went in for my birthday at about 5:30 and they had bar seating. The bar was lovely; decorated, but plenty of space for a meal with very comfy chairs. Beautiful slate-like top and art deco decor. Staff was attentive and quick and very accommodating, took the time to engage regularly and explain things on the menu! Every person was seamless with each other! We ordered the Steak Tartare, Wagyu 1/2 Lb & bouillabaisse. I’ve wanted to try Wagyu & Tartare forever!! The Steak tartare was incredible, so flavorful. It came with these truffley-mushrooms, roasted garlic, a delicious mustard that was so complex. It was 10/10 The Wagyu was beyond words. So flavorful and it melts in your mouth. Worth every penny. The sides were so well chosen & prepared. Potatoes help cut the richness of the meat and the green beans were so fresh and snappy! 10000/10 I absolutely mourn forgetting my leftover potato! The bouillabaisse was genuinely incredible. I grew up in New England eating fresh seafood and this is absolutely one of the best fish dishes ever. It wasn’t fishy in any way! It was so delicate and everything was perfectly thought through. The broth was incredible and everything add in was absolutely picked clean by us! 100/10 Roque the executive chef was amazing to watch, as was everybody in the kitchen. We were luckily seated right in front of it all and as someone who loves to cook at home it was amazing to watch such a calm, well oiled machine at work. Everything flowed so beautifully. We also had this amazing frozen apple dessert, my gosh it was like a delicious cold apple pie with ice cream or a danish, truthfully mind blowing. I mean it when I say this was the best meal of my life. I hope to go again soon. I regret not going sooner. If I was a wealthier woman this would be a daily or weekly occurrence we are so lucky to have this gem in Tulsa!
What an incredible visit! I reserved a table here for a first date, and from the moment we arrived, I was completely impressed. The atmosphere is stunning, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m glad I read a few reviews beforehand, because I never would have guessed which entrance to use — thankfully, my date figured it out! I enjoyed the gnocchi, while my date had the steak frites, and we also appreciated the complimentary prosecco when we arrived. If you’re looking for a truly unique dining experience and a hidden gem in the city, this is the place. Thank you for a wonderful meal and such a memorable evening!
Incredible experience! Start to finish, this place is awesome. The vibe is all time - feels like a speak easy. You go down an alley, and then into the building and down into the basement. The mood, decor and lighting are all on point and make it experience awesome. Every person we interacted with was super helpful and great. Our servers name was Keith, and he was so great. He gave great recommendations and we all enjoyed our meals. We did the steak tartare for our appetizer which was really good. The bread had a slight char to it which made it extra good. I ordered the osso buco and LOVED it. It was a little bit like a Sunday roast, but so much better. Full of flavor and it was gone before I knew it. My co workers got the poisson blanc, and the trois petite mouton. They both really enjoyed it and there was nothing left on their plates. The dessert was such a great way to end the meal. There were 4 desserts - chocolate ice cream, flan, bread pudding and carrot cake. Each one so so good. Between the food, service and vibe, we all agreed it was the best meal we have had in Tulsa.
An absolute gem!! The ambiance is delightful, just the experience of finding the door (look for the knife and fork sign in the alley) followed by the narrow staircase taking you underground makes you aware you're in for a unique experience. The menu is very limited but every dish we tasted was a palate pleaser. The osso buco was tender and delicious, but the star of the meal was the gnocchi. It's the best I've ever had.
Had the best dinner last night. Just my husband and I. The atmosphere is so cool and dark. Perfect for celebrating new jobs! The foie gras is always a must! Service is great and the mixologists do a great job with the cocktails! This is one of the best restaurants in Tulsa. Always take our girls for their birthdays! Definitely a fave! Ask to reserve the secret room.
This is our first time… I reserved a table for our 16 year anniversary, I could’ve taken credit however I was just as shocked for one we were offered champagne as soon as I gave my name, then when we got our table. I would call it the bookshelf room, a nice table setup for us. They surprised us both, exquisite food, with random what I call chefs treats. This is when the bartender or chef makes a random super good concoction and treats you with it. Hands down our strong top 1%. Just perfect.
Our server, Zach was phenomenal! He made over the top drink recommendations, his knowledge of mixed drinks/spirits was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed everything he recommended. He was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, and everything you could ask for in a great server! We had the charcuterie board which was delicious & had a great pairing of flavors. We ordered steak frites, the frites & aioli was delicious, however the steak was disappointingly tough. From the ambiance, to the server, to the food, it was outstanding evening out & about. The only disappointment was the quality of steak was poor.
We had difficulty finding the door so pay attention to Google map! You are greeted with a glass of Prosecco. The place is laid back with good music. The drinks were reasonably priced. The waiter, Zach, was great. The steak tartare was delicious! Highly recommend it- enough for two, it was seasoned perfectly. The ground mustard was a great topping. The surf and turf was amazing! The steak and lobster were cooked to perfection. You willl spend $$$ but this is a fun way to dine.
