Brits Fish & Chips is an absolutely incredible restaurant in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Me and my family ordered the Fish and Chips Family Special. It came with six fillets and three sides. We had three cod and three haddock along with three orders of chips. The food was amazing, very nice fishy flavour, chips go great with gravy, and the portions are amazing. The haddock portions are huge—just one piece with some chips is enough. Next, the service was extraordinary. Our server was very insightful regarding the fish, and he was very friendly. He told us where the fish was sourced from, and the process it went through. Overall, Brits Fish & Chips is a five star restaurant, though prices are a little expensive. Still recommend trying, definitely worth the experience if you’re visiting Charlottetown.
We were on a day trip from Nova Scotia and decided on this place for supper. It looked like a fun place from the outside. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We were acknowledged and seated immediately. My friend and I both ordered the haddock and chips. Oh my gosh, it was the biggest piece of fish I've ever seen. The batter was light and crispy. The fish was flakey and so delicious. Our server was fantastic, attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend
We had a lovely meal at Brits Fish and Chips before heading to see a show downtown. The servings were copious, and the service was very friendly. We couldn't believe the size of our fish! Mom and I each enjoyed huge piece of crispy battered fish resting on heaps of fries. Dad had a big ole sloppy burger with all sorts of meats and toppings that he devoured happily. There were also lots of gluten-free options on their large menu. Great place to grab a real fish & chips meal in Charlottetown. Maybe leave time for a nap after . . . you may need it!
Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Options 5/5 Going away party was held at Brits Fish and Chips. 8 friends and we had a blast. We got beer towers. That was a great deal and we had blast with it. Locals coming and going and loved our energy. This place is a very good genuine spot to have a dinner at. 5/5 or 10/10
Really good classic fish and chips, the onion rings were really good too!! Only thing I was disappointed by was how little the serving of coleslaw was. Would not choose that as a side but besides that everything was just perfect
I'm visiting Charlotte Town PEI from Cardiff, South Wales for the next few weeks with my Girlfriend Kathy who is from here, and was in town shooting a movie for youtube and was looking at options for the best fish and chips and we chose this one. Really friendly service, and good food too, and you can't ask for more. Will call again for sure.
We flew over from BC to tour the Atlantic provinces. We rented a car and started our adventure. I'm celiac, that being said, it is so challenging to find restaurants that have no traces of cross-contamination, let alone gluten-free options. Brits Fish and Chips delivered in every way possible! The batter on the fish was perfect as were the chunky chips! I'll be making the trip on my bike eventually and I'll be stopping there again,
