First time eating in a Greek restaurant! Everything was amazing! The server was so attentive and explained everything to us. Her recommendation was on point because we were able to try a little bit of everything. We will be back very soon!
We tried Lakis for the first time last night around 5:30 and were blown away. We wanted something new and found this great little mom and pop place on Google. When we arrived there were a few tables taken, and we were seated right away. Service was excellent from the start. I ordered the gyro salad and loved it. Everything was finely diced, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband ordered a pizza and said it was the best he’s ever had. By the time we finished, the restaurant was full and people were waiting for tables, which says a lot. This will definitely become one of our regular spots. We’re glad we stepped out of our usual routine and found such a fantastic restaurant.
Dinner for two. Started with the spanakopita, which was delicious. I ordered the moussaka for my entree. It came with a salad (just a basic salad with ham and feta) and bread. The moussaka was yummy - well prepared and flavorful. My husband had the Stromboli, which he said was more like a calzone. It was good, but he said he probably wouldn’t order it again. We got the baklava cheesecake for dessert. Flavor was great, but the phyllo on top was a little rubbery and hard to cut instead of crispy and flaky. I’m sure that was from being kept in the cooler. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and I would go back again just for that spanakopita!
I was craving Laki’s all week. I went today to get take out, service was amazing. I ordered The gyro platter to go and large salad. I got home. I opened it up and I was quite disappointed about the amount of meat that was on my gyro platter. I had six little pieces of meat. I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times before and there’s usually a plethora of meat. I am so disappointed in the amount of meat that I got in this it wasn’t enough for my husband to even eat dinner.

This was our first time eating here and wow...everything was so flavorful and delicious. We had the Dolmades for an appetizer. Savory chicken skewers and an Italian stromboli for entrees. Tammy with a Y was very informative about the dishes and made it a great experience for us. Can't wait to try another delicious meal off the menu next visit as we will definitely be back.
Our party of five enjoyed a delicious meal at Lakis on Sunday afternoon. We all had great Greek food, and were served by our delightful waitress, Tammy, who was very helpful with defining the various menu items. We had lots of questions and Tammy patiently worked with us to see that all were satisfied. We just had to try the Saganaki appetizer experience and were pleased with her presentation. The menu item "Tour of Greece" offered samplings of several specialties: Moussaka, tyropitas, spanakopitas and souvlaki. The roasted leg of lamb was seasoned and presented just right. We also liked the Moussaka and the Athenian Pasta. We certainly plan to return and try more menu items. Desserts were all wonderful, with Baklava, Baklava Cheesecake, Lemoncello Cake,
We love Greek food to start with. This hidden gem is a very welcoming and friendly staff make you feeling like you are at home. My favorite is Lemon Roasted Potatoes. It’s always a good choice to combine with a Village Salad. They name it Horiatiki Salad. Full Horiatiki is a very generous size and easy to be shared between two people. Avgolemono soup is also always a great choice. It’s a typical eatery setup, simple and homey.
