Katie's Country Store & Takeout

This is a nice little country store. The staff here is friendly. Their isles are jam packed with stuff. You can get ice cream out back, behind it. We usually stop in here on the way to the family cottage, and at some point, make our way back with the kids for the ice cream. Definitely an Otis staple/landmark - we've been coming here for years/decades. The only knock on this place is the parking situation, but this isn't Katie's fault. Too bad some of the customers park so inconsiderately and block access to the gas pumps. I guess they are just very important people and can care less how their actions affect others. You can see the ridiculousness of the important people in one of the photos I am attaching. If it is you and your car that I am referring to, shame on you... Anyway, this is not Katie's fault and I always make it a point to stop in to purchase some items here to help myself & the local economy.

This is sort of an island in the middle of nowhere. You can get general groceries as well as deli sandwiches. They have hot sandwiches made to order. Next time I want to try a breakfast sandwich. The sandwiches are top quality.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always been a 5 star experience. I’m dropping one star for a few minor reasons, but by and large the new management seems to not have had much effect on how great the takeout is. Only reason it’s four stars is because for one, it took a good bit of back and forth with the guy who took our order to understand what he was saying, including the fact that they now only sell hotdogs in groups of three? + prices felt more expensive than in the past. However, food was great and service was quick (although we got each thing we ordered individually, not as one order like in the past). Would definitely return.

I’ve lived in town near a decade now, i used to never stop in because of the cold owners in the past. Ever since the new owners took over the store it’s a way different experience. They’re always very friendly waiting to greet you and help you find anything that you might not see. And some of the cheapest liquor and cigarettes in the hill towns! Not to mention those amazing club steaks!!!

We’ve been going to Katie’s for years, and despite recently changing owners, it’s just as good as ever (maybe better). Great cheeseburgers + soft serve

Katie's Country Store had plenty of options in their conscience store. I was able to find a lot of different drink and snack options. They also have a full deli. Katie's Fast Food and Ice cream was great! The service was excellent and quick. I got a Reese's pieces razzle and it was delicious.

Unbelievably well stocked Country Store offers everything from a deli county to ice cream to a selection of beer to have with that delicious takeout food! Stop by and visit this dynamic owner who knows what a small town Country Store is all about

Katie's staff is wonderful! They never stopped smiling, and super nice! They were willing to feed us even when the kitchen was closing! I've never had such great customer service!
