Fine Taste Hakka Chinese Restaurant

Super quaint haka restaurant. The portions are big and the food is yummy. Everything is freshly cooked even the spring rolls. The service was nice as well. They really tried to help us decide and were patient. Also checked up to see if we liked the food or not. Will definitely be back. Very comforting and sweet!

My family and I have been regulars at this establishment for several years. The food is always hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Thanks to the long-time staffers Jovi and Joyce.

Always a great experience here, food is good. Staff always friendly, not sure why so many people have an issue with the customer service. Its a busy spot, and they do their job. Good portion and prices! Love the chicken wings

Their lunch special is great value I think under $15 and good size. General Tao was good not really spicy though but it wasn’t really soggy as some Chinese food places serve it chicken balls are good as well. Def upgrade to the Hakka noodles it’s good. Update, had the Guyanese fried rice which was better than island mix but still lacked flavour the chicken pakoras were ok but felt greasy 3.5/5⭐

This is easily the best Chinese food in Durham! I've tried a lot of places but Fine Taste is my fave! This was our first time dining in, but we have ordered several times through uber eats. The food came out quickly and very fresh. The crispy outside on the crispy ginger beef was so satisfying. The beef ho fun was cooked perfectly. Everything tonight was delicious and we are always left satisfied when we choose fine taste for dinner. The staff were super busy but still attentive. They were constantly taking phone orders, handling take out, and serving dine in guests. They are working so hard and doing an amazing job. I will be back soon and they are my go to for chinese food

I feel like not enough people are talking about this amazing place! Have only ever gotten takeout but I have tried MANY menu options and everything has been superb! So delicious! So fresh! Excellent vegetarian options! My go-to for Chinese food! Some of my favourite dishes: Anything with mushrooms, either the medley or the fried rice Cantonese chow mein General Tao chicken Veggie balls Bean medley Crispy ginger beef Chilli chicken Seriously love this place so much!!!

Probably my favourite place to eat, great prices, great portions all around great. Will always recommend to friends and family!!

Overall pretty good. Big portions, lots of menu options and good flavours. Tried both versions of the Chilli Chicken, wasn't as good as I had hoped, and the Crispy Ginger Beef was surprisingly too sweet. But the Red Hot Garlic Chicken was really good, as was the Ho-Fun Noodles with Beef (very similar to Pad Sew).

Amazing portion sizes, tons of classic options . Food was absolutely lovely even mt husband and daughter approved the next day (there was so much to share). The gentleman taking my order might have just had a really long day but he was very curt

The food carried great flavors and was well presented and the price point was justifiable. The atmosphere in the restaurant accommodated a warm and quiet environment for a quick Sunday family lunch.
