This is my third Hawaiian restaurant, and by far the best. The food is fresh, made where you can see the chef cooking it and the chef even comes out himself and asks how everything was….that rarely happens. I definitely will be going back, I love small family owned businesses and I highly recommend.

Went with a larger group, everyone enjoyed the food! But, although I gave 5 stars, I'd suggest a tad more salt and again a tad less dry Mahi Mahi Katsu. It was still yummy. Hubs got the ohana plate (pic with the bone showing), so so much food!!!! I tasted it, and it was good. We tried the tofu as well, and she had no complaints. The kids' meals are big too and cone with shaved ice. Big hit. The pic with the salad is the fish dish, and the kahlua pork is the kids' portion.

I recently visited Ohana Hawaiian Cafe. I ordered an Ohana mixed plate. It was a large meal, but overall, I took to the challenge it was delicious. My server, Caitlyn was awesome. I’ve come in a couple others times and she has always been so attentive, helpful, kind and hilarious. You can tell the waitresses here are hard workers. It looks like there is only one server handling the phone, tables and online order and everything always comes out great.

OH MY WOW! We had the best experience! Everything was fresh and the flavors were fabulous! It’s a family like environment. The chef came to the table to check on how we liked our meals. Friendly service like we were regulars although it was our first time. Love is put into everything they do and you can taste it! Definitely making it a regular date night. I would totally recommend this restaurant.

First time here and for sure not the last. We ordered the Aloha and Ohana plates. Dessert we ordered the Haupia pie that was insanely delicious! The food was exceptional! Perfectly cooked shirt ribs, deliciously salted pork and a Perfectly sweet chicken. The mac salad on point! The desserts! Next level! Aside from the food the service was wonderful! If you want Hawaiian food.. STOP HERE you won't be disappointed! Mahalo!

It was ok. The waitress busted her butt to do everything: taking orders, running orders, bussing tables, prepping and sending out pickup/takeout orders, making drinks, welcoming and seat guests. She didn't stop moving. The food was well prepared and the portions were generous, but the flavors just didn't do it for me. The meat was a good texture, but all three mix plates were doused in the same (or very similar) sweet sauce. It wasn't how I remembered the flavors at the Portland location. Even the mac salad was lackluster, and I love mac salad. The lomi salmon is essentially pico de gallo with microscopic cubes of raw salmon sprinkled in. We played a game called find the salmon. We found one piece, roughly a quarter of a six-sided dice. The pie was good. They were out of ice cream. This location doesn't serve hard liquor. Avoid the non-alcoholic mixed drinks, especially the coconut milk and pineapple drink. It's nothing like a pina colada, despite being pitched as a virgin variant.

I enjoyed this cute little spot. The Hawaiian food here hit the spot: good fish, good chicken, good rice, good island mac, and a cold Maui beer. Service is friendly. They also have shaved ice for the kids or the kid in you. Definitely stop by next time you're in Milwaukie.

Ohana Hawaiian Cafe was really delicious! I ordered the beef dish with Mac salad and rice and it did not disappoint. I ordered a large dish but it felt that the portion was a little smaller since I finished it all! Definitely returning however as it was really delicious.
