Novel experience of piping hot soup with delicious ingredients. There are 3 hotpot options that can be customized to be vegetarian straight from their automated ordering system which was reassuring. Smaller setting, had more of a diner than a restaurant feel. Staff was super helpful in choosing menu items. We had the mushroom hot pot and would definitely recommend.

The food is tasty and priced fairly. I really liked the fried chicken and rice. Crispy and juicy chicken and I had it with the plum sauce option. Rice was perfect to my liking. Moreover, our waiters were very polite and attentive. This restaurant shares location with Kyuramen and Tbaar but they have two different ordering and billing systems and it’s confusing who services what. If they are the same owners, they need to work on a better synergy amongst the restaurants. There should be one set of menu and a unified point of service. We visited during the dawn of a triple digits temperature day. They had some commercial fans running but the dinning room was still much warmer than expected.

Authentic Taiwanese hot pot and stinky tofu! It's a little bit of an acquired taste, but if quite-spicy ("mala") flavor and super-hot boiling broth with meats, veggies, quail egg, and tofu appeals to you, this is an unbeatable spot in the Frisco / Plano area! Pot17 has their own ordering kiosk inside a ramen restaurant, so it almost has a bit of a "secret menu" feel to it.

You will never go wrong with this food court place! Authentic Taiwanese hot pot. I got the combo for 2 with a large hot pot, an appetizer, two bowls of rice, and free unlimited tea. I love the flavor of the soup. Quality of food is beyond and above. Fast service and friendly staff. Will be back in the future!

Found this place and decided to try it since we were all craving some hot pot. It is at a food court inside the Ranch 99 Market. We arrived around 5ish on a Friday Night and only a few people there. There were 6 of us and we decide to share 4 pots. We got 2 Taiwanese Style Pot, Satay Beef Pot, and Thai Style Pot. We got it Medium for Spiciness and for me it was to spicy. I shared the Satay Beef Pot and it was flavorful and had quite a bit of meat but mostly veggies. Everyone said their pot was good. The pots were pretty big for me to share with my husband as I don’t eat that much. It does come with rice or noodles. I believe it would be enough for one person. Don’t forget the sauce. Out of the two sauce they offer, I liked the bean pace sauce better than the soy sauce looking one. Overall it was good. I would recommend and be back. It was not bad in pricing as well. We got 4 pots for $70. Overall it

This restaurant is famous for its hot pot, but I ordered braised pork. The dish comes with an egg and some green vegetables. The portion is just right and you also get unlimited drinks (water or sweet chrysanthemum tea) when you dine in.

This place wasn't bad for a quick bite. Though it's kind of in a weird location sharing a restaurant portion with a ramen joint. It didn't bug me much but the food wasn't bad. Worth a try at the least.

Let’s call this place my FAVORITE SPOT to eat, there’s a lot of restaurants that with time you get tired of eating the same things and same flavors, but that is not the case here, pop pot leaves me always very well satisfied with their #9(tofu pot) with instant Ramen, and a side of fried squid balls, it tastes so good every time; I eat it with their sweet soy sauce they have next to their register, and it’s just delicious, I’ve been there with my wife sometimes two/three times a week and it always hits the spot. Give them a chance, they are very nice and humble people , you can tell they love what they do. Eating a Hot Pot it’s always a great experience.
