A great place for authentic Gujarati food. The taste is homely and full of flavor, just like real Kathiyawadi style. Dishes like sev tameta, bajra rotla & Methi gota are very tasty. Service is friendly, and portions are good for the price. Nice place for family and friends to enjoy traditional Gujarati meals.
I had an amazing experience at Khatiwadi King restaurant! I tried the Punjabi Special Thali, which was good, but the Khatiwadi Special Thali stole the show – it was absolutely amazing! The Khichdi Kadi was perfectly prepared, just the way it should be – comforting and delicious. And The Mohan Thal sweet dish was a nostalgic treat that transported me straight back to India. It brought back so many cherished memories! Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend this place for authentic flavors and an overall delightful dining experience
This authentic Gujarati restaurant is a culinary treasure. The thali is a vibrant symphony of flavors—sweet, tangy, and spicy in perfect harmony. From melt-in-your-mouth khandvi to soulful khichdi and refreshing chaas, every bite feels like a celebration. Service is warm and attentive, and the ambience radiates homely charm. A must-visit for lovers of true Kathiyawadi comfort food!
Real Taste of Gujarat in the USA! Kathiyawadi King truly took me back to the flavors of home! The food is authentic, flavorful, and full of that real Gujrati touch. Every dish reminded me of meals in Gujarat — especially the spices and homestyle cooking. A must-visit for anyone craving true Kathiyawadi flavors!
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy, could use some candles to offset smells from cleaning supplies. The food is authentic, reminded me of my childhood growing up in Gujarat would love to come back to try more of the menu! Items we ordered: • Nimbu Pani - Traditional Gujarati lemonade with jeeru (cumin) and not super sweet • Methi Gota - came with authentic kadhi • Dal Bati - came with ghee, garlic chutney, raw onions. It was great, but I’d recommend making it even better by serving it with churma that traditional Rajasthani dal bati usually comes with. • Kathiyawadi King Special Gujarati Thali - Came with 4 shaaks (bataka, chana, sev tameta, undhiyu), dal, rice, mango ras, 3 puri, 2 roti, 1 papad, 1 samosa, and plain chaas. All of it was amazing but we especially loved the Ras and the sev tameta
Good place for North Eastern food - Gujarati and Rajasthani especially. The unlimited Pani puri is a must try. They also have traditional desserts. The thali they have are like those we get in India. Must try place if you are on a hunt for Desi food.
We tried this place, Kathiawadi King, last week and were blow away by the simplicity, quality and taste of food! We ordered a Kathiawadi thali and papdi chaat - both were excellent. Midway our order, I was praising every dish at every bite and realized this place needs to be reviewed and shared but by then I had finished half our meal. So apologies for pictures in spoon to keep it clean but you can tell that we LOVED the thali and chaas. Amazing, authentic kathiawadi food. If you like trying new cuisine, must try this one. Good decor and great service made the experience even top notch! Our new favorite and will certainly be returning for more!
I’ve tried pani puri at many places, but Kathiyawadi King’s $ 9.99 unlimited pani puri is truly a hidden gem in town. The taste is unmatched — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between spicy and tangy. The puris are always crisp, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. It’s not just great value for money, it’s genuinely one of the best pani puri experiences I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves authentic street-style flavors with great hygiene. A must-visit for all foodies! They have also started Kathiyawadi unlimited Buffet on weekends must try at $19.99 .
