i'm confused by the reviews :c the food was good! i think it's better to take vegetarian dishes at this place, because they were better. also we went for lunch, and it was only 15$ for lots of food :) the place is pretty, like finding something hidden. but what stood out the most is the service. the couple (i think they were a couple, i'm not sure?) were so kind! and when we commented on how good the food was, they gave us some more i'll definitely be going back. thanks for the lunch! 彡
Really I enjoyed the food. I ordered veg pakora taste like home made and fish Bhuna was very delicious and owner he is very nice man I will be there again.
I swear my god , there food is really delicious and feel like deshi , made by moms hand .
I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews! I’m actually glad we didn’t read them before going, because we had a great experience. My wife, my friend, his wife, and I went there for a late-night dinner and absolutely loved the food. The naan was excellent, the daal and chana daal were full of flavor, and the tikka chicken was cooked to perfection. We loved the food, loved the service, and would definitely go back if we visit Quebec City again!
I tried their combo meal and chicken briyani. The food was good. Is it authentic Indian food? Not 100 percent. I believe it's also the fact that they could have tailored based on their customer feedback as well. But honestly it's not like the reviews I see. My personal experience was good.
Had Lamb biryani. It was one of the best I ever had. Full of flavour. Requested to make it spicy and they did the way I like. And the portion was well enough . Also tired the ras malai. It was also very tasty . The balance of sweetness was perfect.
Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was outstanding—full of flavour, fresh, and clearly made with care. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Three of us enjoyed a great lunch together, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere made it even better. We had plenty of good conversation and laughs with the owner, who is an excellent host and a genuinely great person. That personal touch really sets this place apart. A wonderful environment, great food, and top-class hospitality. Highly recommended.
We reached a little before closing time at night but the host was kind enough to accommodate us. Food is great. Transported us right back to India. Do take suggestions from the host regarding your food's spice levels because it can be hotter than you think.
Loved it food was awesome and service was just fantastic.everything is fresh and hot.server was too helpful. We ordered dal, paneer , garlic nan n rica n salad. Quebec city have many few places to eat indian food. This reataurant was whole day open from 2 to night. I just recommend you this restaurant for indian tourist. We told them to make it spicier than usual spice level.
Im glad I didn’t read the reviews before heading here because the food is FANTASTIC AND DELICIOUS. We ordered - Lasooni Dal 100/10 Paneer Bhuna 9/10 Madras Chicken 100/10 Garlic naan 10/10. The only drawback was their roti 2/10 it was very hard and unappealing to eat. Other than that the atmosphere and service was great!
Food was good , service was ok, little slow , but if you cook the food is not gonna be fast, overall good, will definitely come back.
One of the best Indian Restaurants I have been to in a long time! Wonderful food and atmosphere. We had the vegetarian dinner for two which was delicious.
We ordered, samosa and pakoda platter, it was ok ,I don't know it is fresh or not but while eating it was good. Butter chicken and garlic naan was good no complaints. Chicken Biryani was not that good , it was like fried rice.
