The Kolkata Club Indian Cuisine

We had a wonderful experience at Kolkata Kitchen in Guelph! The food was absolutely delicious. full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Mehar’s customer service was excellent; she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect at our table. The manager was also very professional and genuinely cared about the customers, which made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Kolkata Kitchen to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality! Thank you so much for the complimentary Masala Tea.

This is definitely the best Indian cuisine in all of guelph. I would definitely recommend going here, the owner and the chef were both super great, friendly people. If you are looking for an authentic delicious meal, i cannot recommend this place enough. I got the kadai lamb combo with basmati rice and garlic naan, the flavours were so rich and absolutely delicious. This chef knows what he's doing, i would give 10 stars if I could!

Today me and my friends were visited the Kolkata club restaurant. Best place with amazing food. Very friendly staff with great atmosphere. Love the Christmas songs playing on. I’m vegetarian so chef suggestions Soyo Malai chap is the best vegetarian Indian dish I have ever tried. Loved the taste. Surely visiting again soon.

First time here and the customer service was amazing. I had called the restaurant to order takeout and Meher picked it up. She was very nice and kind. I ordered Mugh Biryani and she made sure that there were no nuts in it and took care of my dietary restrictions. Very nice place. Next time I will definitely dine in because the restaurant has a very nice vibe and the music playing was good. The mugh biryani smelled soooo good. It tasted amazing. I also had some chutney and raita for biryani that came with the order.

Food smelled so good and tasted great! Service was super friendly and attentive, and they also surprised our table with cake slices for our friend's birthday! Decor inside is pretty and music is at a good volume where you can still have a conversation around the table.

Tasted great, tandoori chicken and the lamb shank. Would be happy to have an option with larger quantity of meat.

This was my first time ordering from The Kolkata Club – Indian Restaurant, and I’m honestly so grateful. When I mentioned I was sick, they kindly offered to deliver purely out of compassion. As a student living alone, that meant a lot to me. The food was delicious, but their kindness truly stood out. I will definitely be ordering again. The evening started a bit slow as we waited quite a while to place our order. We put it down to the fact that it is a newly opened place and they were not expecting the rush resulting from a very positive review in the local paper. Once we ordered we were very impressed. Excellent food, quite different from the usual Indian restaurant, and a top notch house G&T (with Fever Tree tonic water). The samosas were quite different, being served in a lovely sauce. A nice change from the usual dry triangles of pastry and potatoes. Highly recommended, we will certainly return.

It was a lovely evening having dinner at this place, nice ambience, great food and good service. We tried something different this time, mashroom tikka masala and eggplant dish. Both were delicious. No regrets trying new dishes. For sure recommend this place

Absolutely phenomenal. First of all hats off to the chef and the waitress, Manvi. Best food I’ve ever tasted. The lamb shank biryani and the chicken midras was a 10/10. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the service to the drinks and of course the food. Very Clean restaurant too.

Definitely the best Indian food & HAKKA restaurant of Guelph. Under the new management and Chef, the food is fantastic. Quite a bit of options to chose from. They offer mouthwatering food and you can even decide which spice level you want. We tried the Lamb Shank Biriyani and Chowmein & we were simply blown away after trying them. The price is reasonable and they serve adequate quantity. They prepare fresh food, so please allow 15-20 mins after you place your order. The interior of the place is quite nice too. Well maintained hygienic place with separate washrooms for male & female. Hospitality of the staffs are something to notice as well. Overall it’s a great place to dine in or take out. On Friday - Sunday they stay open till 4 am. So you can imagine how busy they are & probably the only dine in place in Guelph who stays open that late. I loved their food & I will definitely keep coming back to try the other items in their menu!

Overall a good experience, friendly helpful servers and good customer service. Now about the food, it was delicious, raaita was a bit loose, chicken and non veg dishes had too much veggies and little less meat in it, biryani was awesome. Entree dishes had a good amount of meat compared to main dishes. Spiciness can be ordered based on your comfort level, most are good with mild or medium, the spicy, which is one down from the top Very Spicy, will be on the spicy side so be aware of that. The place is cozy, more like a sports bar setup, but seating was very good and spacious. Parking was easy.
