Great local place with authentic Italian. Calzones are massive!!
Everything is always great! The food is fresh and homemade, great quality, and portions are just right. Love the breadsticks! I just wish they would offer a lunch menu!
It was a pleasant experience. My calzone was cold in the middle, but since I had already planned on taking the majority of it home, I didn't say anything. I would return.
Local Italian restaurant with a solid menu with great choices. The good was amazing I had no complaints only praise for every menu item I sampled. The staff was helpful and did a great job. The decor was comfortable and was inviting. The restrooms were clean and well maintained and all the furniture was intact and in good shape.
Enthusiastic caring staff. Seemed local and perhaps family owned. Food was fine but not great. A bit bland and lacking in spice or flavor. That reflects more on my likes. I don't doubt what they cook is authentic and properly made. Prices were fair and reasonable. They do pass along the 3% surcharge if using a credit card and add that to the bill.
The food & service was 5 star. It's a nice atmosphere. Very quiet & relaxing. The portions are generous too. So why 4 stars? Well, they charge a 3 percent fee for using a card to pay. The fee charged by the provider is tax deductible to the business. Imagine if Kroger or Walmart charged a fee for using a card. Just seems like a bad business decision. But like I said. Everything else was spot on. I felt very at home.
Very good food! Reasonably priced & the people were accommodating & friendly. I do plan a return visit.
First time eating here with my family and we already look forward to coming back. The food was amazing! I had a very hard time deciding what I wanted to order because many of the meals sounded delicious after reading the descriptions. But I was very happy with what I ordered (Catalina florentine) and can’t wait to try more. The complementary bread and red sauce was delicious. Our dining experience was enjoyable as the staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. I would say this place is a hidden gem in Portsmouth, OH with excellent Italian food.
